Goal 3, Objective 3: Strengthen the role performed by the AMII afterschool model program sites in educating and providing peer-support to other afterschool programs through technical assistance and regional meetings. Goal 3, Objective 4: Strengthen the infrastructure for afterschool leadership; help leverage the power of stakeholder organizations in all spheres of influence; increase the adoption of afterschool model interventions; publicize and increase the resources available to afterschool programs to implement model interventions in nutrition education, physical activity and food security. Goal 3, Objective 5: Build the evidence base for the impact of the afterschool model interventions on children, youth and afterschool staff. The total sub-contact amount for this project is $230,000.
