Portrait
Adria Airways is Slovenia's national airline and has a wealth of experience spanning 50 years in charter
and scheduled services. The Adria story began in 1961 when the airline was founded as a charter com-
pany. In the 1980s it began operating scheduled services and became a member of the International Air
Transport Association (IATA).
Today, scheduled services represent the majority of Adria's network of flights. Adria Airways connects
Ljubljana to more than 25 European cities and provides excellent connections to south-eastern Europe.
It operates more than 250 scheduled flights a week from Ljubljana to Amsterdam, Banja Luka, Belgrade,
Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Kiev, London, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Podgorica, Priština,
Sarajevo, Skopje, Stockholm, Tirana, Toulon, Vienna, Warsaw and Zürich. During the summer season,
Adria also flies to Athens, Barcelona, Dublin, Manchester, Ohrid and Split. In December 2010 Adria be-
gan operating scheduled services between Priština and Munich (seven times a week) and between Priština
and Frankfurt (four times a week), as well as a twice-weekly service between Priština and Brussels and
weekly services between Priština and Copenhagen, Düsseldorf and Paris.
Charter flights are for the most part seasonal and mainly to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean.
Adria Airways operates charter flights to the Egyptian resorts of Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada all year
round. The registered office of the airline is at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. Adria has offices in Brus-
sels, Paris, Moscow, Frankfurt, Zagreb and Zürich and points of sale in almost every country in Europe.
In August 2004 Adria became one of the first airlines in the world to receive IOSA (IATA Operational
Safety Audit) certification (www.iata.org/registry), covering organisation, operating procedures, flight
safety and company security.
The Adria Airways fleet currently consists of two Airbus A320 aircraft, two Airbus A319 aircraft, four
Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft and six Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft. In association with the other members
of the Star Alliance, Adria Airways offers access to a vast global network of flights operated by 27 carriers,
with more than 21,000 flights a day linking 1,160 airports in 181 countries.

1. ADRIA AIRWAYS IN-FLIGHT MAGAZINE
The Adria In-Flight Magazine is aimed at passengers on Adria Airways scheduled and charter flights. The
magazine, which is free, is published six times a year in both Slovene and English and is of an informative
and promotional nature. The magazine is present both in Slovenia and abroad and is an ideal medium
for communicating with the domestic and foreign public. It is also available in the business lounge at
Ljubljana Airport, in Adria Airways offices, in good hotels around Slovenia, in libraries, at trade fairs as
part of the promotion of Slovenia abroad and at conferences of various kinds. Passengers like to take it
with them when they leave the aircraft. Each issue is read by around 200,000 passengers, the number of
passengers we carry in two months, and approximately 30,000 copies each year are taken home by passen-
gers or given to business partners at home and abroad. The most recent survey, carried out in November
2010, showed that passengers are favourably inclined towards the magazine and read it with particular
attention. Demand for the magazine is remarkable, both for the current issue and for older issues, which
we send out to a large number of enthusiasts and collectors. With quality articles, carefully chosen themes,
descriptions of current cultural and other events in our target destinations and highly attractive illustra-
tions and design, the magazine contributes to the promotion of Slovenia while offering information
about places of interest all over the world. Each issue of the magazine has between 112 and 128 pages. It is
printed on high-quality paper using a high-quality printing process. We are proud of the fact that in 2000
the Adria In-Flight Magazine won a Gold Quill award for outstanding achievement in communication
from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) in San Francisco.

Important! All PDF files must be in a format that takes into account a 5 mm bleed on all four sides of the page. Bleed markers must be included. Accompanying texts (e.g. websites, telephone numbers, slogans, etc.) must be at least 5 mm from the edge of the bleed. Given that the magazine is spine-glued, all elements of the advertisement must be at least 10 mm from the spine edge, so as not to come into the spine area. General conditions:
• An order for a publication or advertising service containing the necessary elements (content and
details of desired size of publication, the medium in which the advertiser wishes to advertise and all
legally required information) must be submitted in written form.
• Prices apply to an advertisement pre-prepared by the advertiser.
• The payment term (unless agreed otherwise) is 14 days from issue of the invoice.
• Interest for late payment is charged at the statutory rate.
• The deadline for complaints is five days from publication of the advertisement.
• In accordance with applicable legislation, advertisements must be signed with the name and address
of the advertiser whose product or service is being advertised.
• The language options for advertisements published in Adria Airways media are Slovene and bilingual
(i.e. Slovene and English or any other language).
• If an advertisement is aimed above all at a foreign language group, this must be evident and indicated
in the advertisement in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
• In publishing market communication messages and implementing campaigns on behalf of clients,
Adria Airways adheres to its own business policy and the concept of its media. It publishes
advertisement as per contract provided they do not contravene applicable legislation, the advertising
code and linguistic and technical norms.
• The advertiser shall be responsible for the content of the advertisement.
