We didn’t have the privilege of knowing Harley long, but, we believe we got to know Harley well. You learn a lot about people when you travel with them and we had the privilege of taking a few extended trips with our friend Harley. From the twisties of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the bridges and flatlands of the Florida Key’s. From the all day rain storm riding through Florida to the freezing night on the Midnight Ride. From the night in the Tiki bar in Key Largo to the solitude of the cabin on the creek in North Carolina our friend was always there to share a story, a laugh, sometimes a cocktail and always a motorcycle ride with. Even though our friend was taken way too soon he’ll always be with us when we take a journey on our motorcycle or do anything with GWRRA. So dear friend we will never forget the times we had and un-til we meet again ride safe. Jim & Julie Meredith

They're Back! Church Bulletins: Thank God for church ladies with typewriters. These sentences actually appeared in church bulletins or were announced in church services: The sermon this morning: "Jesus Walks on the Water." The sermon tonight: "Searching for Jesus." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Our youth basketball team is back in action Wednesday at 8 PM in the recreation hall. Come out and watch us kill Christ the King. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ladies, don't forget the rummage sale. It's a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Bring your husbands. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The peacemaking meeting scheduled for today has been canceled due to a conflict. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our community. Smile at someone who is hard to love. Say "Hell" to someone who doesn't care much about you. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't let worry kill you off - let the Church help. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Miss Charlene Mason sang "I will not pass this way again," giving obvious pleasure to the congregation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For those of you who have children and don't know it, we have a nursery downstairs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the help they can get. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Rector will preach his farewell message after which the choir will sing: "Break Forth Into Joy" --------------------------------------------------------------------- Irving Benson and Jessie Carter were married on October 24 in the church. So ends a friendship that began in their school days. --------------------------------------------------------------------- A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall. Music will follow. -------------------------------------------------------------- At the evening service tonight, the sermon topic will be "What Is Hell?" Come early and listen to our choir practice. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Eight new choir robes are currently needed due to the addition of several new members and to the deterioration of some older ones. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Scouts are saving aluminum cans, bottles and other items to be recycled. Proceeds will be used to cripple children. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please place your donation in the envelope along with the deceased person you want remembered. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The church will host an evening of fine dining, super entertainment and gracious hostility. ------------------------------------------------- Potluck supper Sunday at 5:00 PM - prayer and medication to follow --------------------------------------------------------------------- The ladies of the Church have cast off clothing of every kind. They may be seen in the basement on Friday afternoon. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This evening at 7 PM there will be a hymn singing in the park across from the Church. Bring a blanket and come prepared to sin. Contributed by John Van Arsdale from the internet.

Anniversary Party
It looks like we have enough door prizes for our Anniversary Party. Many, many thanks to all those that contributed. We still need some volunteers to help decorate and do a few other odd jobs at the party. If you think you can help please give us a call or drop us a email. Thanks. Jim & Julie Meredith
CD Article Hello Everyone,
First let us say that Wingless Weekend was a great time! The entertainment was wonderful, the food was fabulous and the gathering of friends was special as always. Everyone should try it at least once.
The drive home was bittersweet. The weekend was great but we knew that on Monday was the me-morial for our friend Harley Bonebrake. As you all know Harley passed away on Feb. 5th 2006. For Joe and I, we have lost a good friend but we have so many memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Harley will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. The many miles we shared, some on paved roads and some on dirt roads with his laugh, lousy jokes and smile will not be replaced any time soon. Harley introduced us to one thing that will be with us whenever we ride as a chapter, the “G” turn. We don’t know if it had this name before Harley, but for us the “U-turn will forever be a “G” turn. For that we thank you Harley. Joe & Dianna Moroski Chapter Directors
A Living Will A man and his wife were sitting in the living room and he said to her, "Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
His wife got up, unplugged the TV and threw out all of his beer.

Rider Education… When riding we should be aware of what is going on around us. These excerpts from what is probably my favorite magazine (Motorcycle Consumer News) should give you something to think about. Seeya on the road soon. Len.
