3 lbs. onions (about 12 med.) sliced into 1⁄4” strips
2 lbs. green peppers (about 8 med.) sliced into 1⁄4” strips
1⁄4 cup minced garlic
1 #10 can 6 in 1® All Purpose Ground Tomatoes
2 cups Bontá® Pizza Sauce with Basil
2 tsp. dried basil
2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
Method: In a large roasting pan, brown sausage in oil. Add onions, green peppers and garlic; sauté until vegetables are limp. Add 6 in 1 Ground Tomatoes, Bontá Pizza Sauce and spices and stir until uniformly blended. Cover and bake in a preheated 350ºF oven for 45 minutes, or until sausages are completely cooked. Serve as a sandwich or main dish with pasta or polenta.

Procedure: In a heavy saucepan melt the butter and sweat the red onions. Sauté
Add Christina’s Diced Tomatoes in Juice and the heavy cream and reduce by 1/4 over low heat or until sauce achieves desired consistency.
Stir in the basil and let set for 5 minutes.
