Aim of the DofE Expedition Section• To inspire young people to develop initiative and a sense of adventure
and discovery, by planning, training for and completing an adventurous journey as part of a team.

You need to successfully complete each section.

• Both a waterproof jacket AND trousers are essential
• They MUST be waterproof!
• Taped seams – to stop water leaking through
• Jackets MUST have a hood
Mobile Phones
• Yes – for your safety!
• Fully charged but switched off – only for emergencies
• In suitable waterproof bag – don’t rely on jacket pockets!
