Programme Outcomes (POs)
The Mechanical Engineering
Diploma holder will be able to:
1. Apply concepts, principles of basic
science and engineering in identifying &
analyzing routine problems in various
industries such as manufacturing, automobile,
process and service.
2. Provide solutions for day to day problems
related to organization of resources,
production, safety, maintenance, inventory
management tools, mechanism &
equipment’s as per need Manufacturing
activity.
3. Use various instruments like profile
projector, pressure gauges, tachometer,
rotameter, floating carriage micrometer and
to perform experiments to analyze and solve
various problem.
4. Upgrade existing machines tools and
mechanism as per need of production.
e. Fulfill need of society by assuring quality
of product.
5. Understand the impact of the engineering
solutions in societal and environmental
contexts and demonstrate the knowledge and
need for sustainable development and also
ensure safe disposal of waste.
6. Function effectively as an individual

project like erection, development and
