AbstractA 1 Tb/s net bitrate transceiver using a low complexity dual-carrier architecture with freerunning lasers and DP-64QAM, enabled by pilot-aided DSP and low-rate LDPC, is shown toachieve transmission over 400 km with 100 km amplifier spacing.
