Premiering This FallPerfect Harmony (NBC)Bradley Whitford stars in this comedy about finding inspiration in the most unlikely places. When former Princeton music pro-fessor Arthur Cochran unexpectedly stumbles into choir practice at a small-town church, he finds a group of singers who are out of tune in more ways than one. Despite the ultimate clash of sensibilities, Arthur and his newfound cohorts may just be the perfect mix of individuals to help each other reinvent and rediscover a little happiness when they need it most.
Airs on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. (Channel 5).
Emergence (ABC)A character-driven genre thriller, Emergence is about a police chief who takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what’s happened. The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child’s identity is at the center of it all.
Airs on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. (Channel 4).
Prodigal Son (Fox)Prodigal Son is a fresh take on a crime franchise with a pro-vocative and outrageous lead character and a darkly comedic tone. The show will follow the life of Dr Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne), a criminal profiler whose father was a serial killer called the “The Surgeon.” He was arrested on charges of murdering 23 people when Malcolm was a young boy. After the FBI fires Malcolm, he’s commissioned by an NYPD detective to help him on a case and it turns out, the killer is a copycat of his father. As Malcom continues to help the police solve the case, he understands himself and his demons better.
Airs on Mondays at 9:00 p.m. (Channel 7).
All Rise (CBS)All Rise is a courthouse drama that follows the chaotic, hopeful, and sometimes absurd lives of its judges, prosecutors, and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks, and cops to get justice for the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal process. Among them is newly appointed Judge Lola Carmichael (Simone Missick), a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney who doesn’t intend to sit back on the bench in her new role, but instead leans in, immediately pushing the boundaries and challenging the expectations of what a judge can be.
Airs Mondays at 9:00 p.m. (Channel 3).

Catherine the Great Miniseries to Air on HBOCatherine the Great, a four-part miniseries
starring Helen Mirren (who will also direct and
executive produce) will air on HBO this fall.
Mirren plays the eponymous Russian empress,
whose reign in the late 18th century is widely
considered the Golden Age of the old Russian
monarchy and a time of rapid rise for the
country. The miniseries focuses on Catherine’s
political machinations, chronicling her rise to
power and subsequent rule.
Mirren will be joined by co-star Jason Clarke,
who plays Grigory Potemkin, a Russian military
leader who came into Catherine’s favor as
a friend and trusted advisor. This relation-
ship goes back to his support for her during
the 1762 coup that removed her husband,
Emperor Peter III, from the throne and led to
her ascension.
