The 5/6 students have been enjoying Pasta Vegie Bake in kitchen this week. They have been using pumpkin, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, peas, corn and beans from the garden, adding some macaroni, stirring through pasta sauce and sprinkling cheese on the top. A nice, warm vegie-packed meal for these chilly days!
Our wonderful Scholastic Book Fair is on again next week during Education Week in the library. Cash and Eftpos available.
On Friday 2nd August, we held a Jeans for Genes day to raise money for assisting with children's research of genetic diseases. We are pleased to announce that we raised $218 for this amazing cause with the student’s donation of a gold coin. It was fantastic to see so many students and staff sporting this event.

Woolworths Return and Earn
At Forbes North we are focussing on being more environmentally friendly. It is our goal to raise money through Woolworths Return and Earn at the same time making our school more eco-friendly. We are looking for donations of cans, bottles and poppers to go towards our fundraising. With your help we will be able to achieve our goal of raising $700. Thank you to Mrs Karen Knight for collecting and processing cans and bottles on a weekly basis.
