DRIVING ANGEL

In today’s society, we are involved in countless tasks, causing stress and taking

our attention away from our driving.

Most accidents are caused by fatigue and distracted driving. Fatigue occurs much earlier than drowsiness, and increases with consumption of alcohol, drugs, prescription medications, and anything else that lowers the ability to pay attention.

Drivers begin to have problems keeping their eyes open; their grip loosens on the steering wheel, the body feels heavy and leans forward, the foot presses harder on the accelerator and the car’s speed exceeds the appropriate conditions.

Driving Angel is a steering wheel with multi-function system that helps to

prevent accidents; it analyzes driver fatigue through the contact of the hands on the steering wheel, analyzing driving style and improper driving.

Driving Angel takes over the control of turn signals and lights, the accelerator, the brakes, friction, and gear changes; using activatable sensors, it reveals obstacles such as a pedestrian crossing the street. It offers many other important functions, which, due to their confidentiality, are made available exclusively to purchasers of the design.

Driving Angel manages the accelerator through the steering wheel, according to the degree of fatigue, driving style, and improper driving. The interaction between human and vehicle is important, since the amount of power is determined by the driver’s ability to control the vehicle.
