Run, Hide, Fight-Important Parent Information All Perry Township Schools will conduct a Run, Hide, Fight emergency drill. The Indi-ana Department of Education requires every Indiana school to conduct one man-made occurrence disaster drill each semester. To meet that requirement this se-mester, school leaders and Perry Township School Police have organized the Run, Hide, Fight exercise. During the upcoming drill, students will remain in locked class-rooms with lights off while staying away from windows and doors. School Police have worked closely with administrators at each school to teach them what they can use to counter an intruder and protect our students. Planning for the drill also allowed Police to re-familiarize themselves with school personnel and the differ-ences of each building. The drill should last no longer than 20 minutes. Our stu-dents’ safety is always a top priority. If you have any questions about Run, Hide, Fight, please contact your child’s school.
