Course OverviewThis interactive cadaver program is designed specifically for upper level residents specializing in Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery who have a desire to gain advanced knowledge and skills in skull base surgery. This course has a heavy practicum emphasis in which surgical approaches and procedures, the prevention and management of complications and clinincal outcomes will be covered. Discussion will emphasize basic and advanced endonasal approaches, approaches to the anterior skull base, as well as the anatomy and techniques of eyebrow craniotomies and open skull base approaches.
