- The contest is open to students in 4th - 12th grades. - Essays must be original, 300 - 500 words, typed, double-spaced, on white paper and in the contestant’s own words.- No photos or illustrations allowed with the essay.- Student’s name and grade level must appear at the top of each page.- All entries MUST be accompanied by an original entry form. - All participants MUST have a Public Library card by February 16.
