Welcometothe2015IMPACTSurvey,PhaseI.Beforestartingthesurvey,pleasereadthefollowinginstructionsaboutsurveyoperationandorganizationaldatayouwillneedtohaveavailabletocompletethesurvey.Allsurveyinstructionsareprovidedtoyoubelow.

Overview

TheIMPACTIndexispartofanongoingcollaborativeprojectbetweentheInternationalBusinessInnovationAssociation(InBIA),theUniversityofCentralFlorida(UCF),andtheUnitedStatesEconomicDevelopmentAgency(EDA)tostudytheeconomicimpactofentrepreneurialsupportprograms.Thedatawillbeplacedinadatabasethatwillbesearchablebyvariablesthatincludegeographicregion,industryfocus,andprogramtype.Inthefuture,InBIAwillutilizethedatacollectedtopublishanannualbenchmarkreportthatcomparativelytrackstheoutcomeperformanceofentrepreneurialsupportprogramsacrosshighlygranularvariables.ThedatasetwillbemaintainedbytheInBIA,andwillbeperpetuallyavailabletotheEDAandotherqualifiedinstitutionsforresearchandanalysispurposes.

PhaseI:ThefirstphaseoftheIMPACTsurveyisnowopenandwillcollectkeyperformancemetricsonprogramsthatsupportentrepreneurs.AttheendofthesurveyforPhaseIyouwillbeaskedifyouhaveanydataonclientcompaniestohelpseedtheinitialdatacollectionforPhaseII.

PhaseII:ThesecondphaseoftheIMPACTsurveywillbeconductedafterabaselineoforganizationshavebeenestablishedinPhase1,whichisanticipatedtobeinlate2016orearly2017.PhaseIIaimstocollectperformancemetricsoncompaniesthathavegonethroughtheentrepreneurialsupportprogramsthatcompletedPhaseI.

SurveyTerm&ReportingPeriod:FiscalYear2015

TheIMPACTsurveyrequestsdataforyourfiscalyear2015regardlessthemonthyourfiscalyearbeginsin.The2015reportingperiodmaybeany12-monthperiodthatendsinthecalendaryear2015,e.g.,6/2014–6/2015,9/2014–8/2015,etc.

The2015fiscalyearsurveywillbeavailabletorespondentsforaspecificperiodoftime.The2015fiscalyeardeadlinewillbeannouncedontheIMPACTsurveywebsiteatimpactindex.inbia.org.Respondentsmayrespondtothesurvey,updateorchangetheirinformationasmanytimesasneededbeforesubmittingtheirsurvey.Aftersubmission,changesmayonlybemadeunderspecialarrangementswiththesurveyadministrator([email protected]).

ConfidentialStatus

Organizationaldatawillremainconfidentialtorespondingorganizationsandwillnotbepublished,outsideofyourpersonalbenchmarkreport.Thebenchmarkreportwillbesentdirectlytotherespondentandtheorganization’skeyexecutiveidentifiedinthesurvey.Neithertheinstitution’snamenordatawillbevisibletootherpartiesorthroughthedatabasesearches.However,confidentialdatawillbeincludedwithintheaggregatedatasetandreports.
