"Anyways, with medicine there's a time and a place for everything. It only comes around once. You have to
get it at the right time."
-- -- Cecilia Mitchell, MOHAWK
The old ones say two things must be present for a miracle to take place. One, the right time. Two, the right
place. This is why we need to honor our ceremonies. ceremonies are done in an order. This order is applied to
open a "door" to the right time and place of the medicine. This door opens to the Spiritual World. The Spiritual
World is available to us at the right time and the right place.
My Creator, let me be patient today so the timing is right.

Get Moving in May for National Physical
Fitness and Sports Month May 01, 2015
By: President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition (PCFSN)
May 1st marks the start of the annual National Physical Fitness and Sports Month , led by the
President’s Council on Fitness Sports and Nutrition. The month highlights the importance of
healthy lifestyles, being physically active, and participating in your favorite sports.
That’s why National Physical Education & Sport Week – observed May 1-7 – is the perfect
kick off. May is the ideal time to get outside, be active, and enjoy nice weather. Warm weather
motivates people to get moving. The sunny days entice kids to venture outdoors for free play,
sports, and a healthy dose of physical activity.
While it’s great to see our youth outside and active when the weather is nice, they need physi-
cal education and activity year-round. Studies have shown that active kids do better! When
children are active, they perform better academically, have better attendance, and behavior im-
proves.
Let’s Move! Active Schools – part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative –
is working to bring physical education and activity back to our nation’s schools. The Presi-
dent’s Council is proud to announce that over 15,000 schools have joined the Let’s
Move! Active Schools movement!
These schools are working hard to promote a culture in which physical activity and physical
education underpin academic success. Let’s Move! Active Schools equips school leaders and
teachers with the resources and tools to incorporate at least 60 minutes of physical activity be-
fore, during, and after the school day. It also ensures that movement is a fundamental part of a
child’s educational experience.
Currently, Let’s Move! Active Schools positively impacts the lives of over 8 million youth
through physical education. But we need you to keep the movement going and growing! The
President’s Council is looking for school champions – physical education and classroom teach-
ers, principals, administrators, and parents – to be a part of the movement.
How can you help? Work with your child’s school to become a part of the Let’s Move! Active
Schools movement. Sign up now!
To the 15,000+ Let’s Move! Active Schools, we challenge you to join the First Lady’s #Gim-
meFive challenge. Post five things your school is doing to help students eat better, be more ac-
tive, and lead a healthier life. Let’s show everyone how active schools across the country are
getting students moving, not just during National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, but all
year long!
