Procedures for visitors will apply throughout the entire school year.
All visitors will be required to enter through the office, provide picture identification, and obtain a
visitor sticker/ badge before proceeding to any other part of the building.
This procedure ensures we know who is in the building at all times. Office staff will verify the
visitor is a parent, guardian, or approved contact for the student. Guests are required to
exit the building through the front doors during school hours.
Lunch Guests Scholars are welcome to have visitors eat with
them at lunch. Make sure that all visitors check in with the office before going to the cafeteria. Visitor tables are set up on the far side of the cafeteria by the glass windows that face outside. Due to limited
space in the cafeteria, we ask that you only eat with your scholar. Please DO NOT invite any other
scholars to eat with you.
Thank you for ensuring our scholars are ready for instruction every day. Please remember
scholars need to be in the classroom by 7:55 a.m. If scholars are tardy, please walk your student to
the office to sign them in and receive a tardy pass. To report a late arrival or absence, please contact
Val Jacques at [email protected] or (817) 744-5500 prior to 9:55 am.
Scholars arriving after 9:55 am without a doctor's note will be credited with an absence for the day.
Home Access Center Home Access Center is a Web portal that allows parents/guardians to log
in and view information pertaining to their scholar including, but not limited
to, class schedules, emergency contact information, attendance, and grades. The Home Access Center is provided for the express use of the parents of Keller Independent School
District students to assist in the communication of important educational information. The goal of the Home Access Center is to assist you in effectively
communicating with the teachers, staff, and administration about your student. If you cannot access Home Access Center, please email Marti
Trivett at [email protected] or 817-744-5510. Be sure to add your scholar’s name.
Reaching Out with Character and Kindness is Keller ISD's antibullying campaign. Scholars learn
throughout the year about having good citizenship and character at school and at home. Talk with
your scholar at home about the difference between being unkind and bullying.
Note from the Nurse
Hi Parkview Panthers!
Cold and flu season has started. We can all take
steps to stay healthy this season!
1. Consider getting a flu shot for the whole family.
Scholars who get the flu usually miss about a
week of school. The flu is contagious and can
spread to friends and family members. The flu
shot is recommended by the CDC for everyone
over 6 months of age. Note that getting a flu
shot is not a guarantee that you won’t get the
flu, but it can help protect you.
2. Stay Hydrated. Drink plenty of water to help
fight colds and flu.
3. Eat Healthy Foods. Give yourself a boost by
eating nutritious foods like fruits and
vegetables to fight illness.
4. Get Plenty of Sleep. Children need at least 8-9
hours of sleep every night to stay healthy.
5. Wipe Down Germy Areas. Sanitize light
switches, door knobs, phones, computers, and
TV remotes to stop the spread of germs. Wash
your hands regularly, especially after coughing
or blowing your nose.
6. Exercise to Boost Immunity. Studies show that
regular exercise can help us fight colds and
illness. Enjoy some fresh air outside in the
cooler fall weather!
7. Remember, if your scholar has been sick, please
be fever and vomit free for 24 hours before
returning to school. We want to spread fun
and not the flu at Parkview!

Lunch Balances Please keep up with your scholar’s lunch account balance and send more money when you know
their account is low.
If you have questions about your child's lunch
account, please contact our cafeteria manager,
Penny Bates, at [email protected].
Remember that you can fill out Keller ISD’s free
and reduced lunch form online here.
Two Quarter Treat Tuesdays
On Tuesdays, Mrs. Bates, our cafeteria manager, will be selling
treats in the cafeteria for 50ȼ. These treats may be purchased
with cash only!
Scholars are NOT allowed to use the money in their accounts to purchase these treats. Scholars must
have their 50ȼ with them when they come.
Library News Make sure your child is bringing their library books back to school each week. Feel free to contact our
librarian, Mrs. Raaz, at 817-744-5523 or
[email protected] if you have questions.
