Braque’s “Mandolin” dismantles the stringed instrument only to resemble it’s essential structural lines in corrugated cardboard and newsprint.

Leger added curved forms to the angular Cubist vocabulary. Noted for his industrial landscapes full of polished, metallic shapes & hard gears.
