Introduction
Violent conflicts and complex settings are the biggest challenges the International Community has to face
The consequences of violent conflicts may have a dramatic impact also on the security of European Society (migrations of refugees, instability etc.)
International multi-dimensional missions (such as peace-keeping, peace-building, human rights field operations) constitute a more and more frequent instrument adopted by international organisations to address issues of instability and threats to security
Training and upgrade of such missions’ human resources is a key strategy in order to make interventions in those scenarios an effective tool in order to promote peace and security
