is now on the front side of the plexi-glass. She apparently passed rightthrough it!
WORKINGSThe plexiglass is free to slide up in
the frame. The two counter balancesmake it easy for the girl to lift it. Thesection of plexiglass visible belowthe little platform remains sta-tionary: When the illusionist places
the second screen "on the platform, the girl immediately goes to work. She squats down, lifts the plexiglass, crawls through the secret opening, quietly lowers the plexiglass, standsup, and waits for the magician toremove the screen now in front ofher. To the audience it appears thatshe magically penetrated the solidplexiglass.
