VGA and HD Video Distribution Breakthrough Price and Simplicity

Create your own HDTV cable channel and broadcast VGA or HD video using coax wiring.

• Works with any VGA or HD video source – simply connect any Digital Signage Player,

Computer, DVD player, Satellite Receiver, Set Top Box or any other device with a VGA

or Component HD video output.

• Multiple channels – ZvPros are frequency agile, and can be combined to distribute up

to 135 HD channels on-premise, all on a single, easy to deploy COAX cable.

• No matrix switchers or proprietary wiring required – switching between different

content sources is as easy as tuning to a different channel at the HDTV.

• COAX wiring – easily integrate and balance into new or existing MATV/SMATV RF

dis tribution systems to add an HD tier of video feeds.

• Built to last – steel enclosure, rack mounting, integral power supply, internal fan, and

three year warranty.

What makes this so revolutionary? Based on the same technology used by TV stations and cable companies, ZvPro 280 makes it affordable to convert your VGA or HD video into an HDTV channel and broadcast it over simple to use COAX wiring to every on-premise HDTV. Its standard QAM cable channel output can be received by practically any off-the-shelf digital cable-ready HDTV without requiring an additional box at the TV.

“Too good to be true!” “Are you guys for real?”“Everything works as promised. I was very skeptical to start with, and was happily surprised.”

Shattering the Cost BarrierDigital TV broadcasting is a very powerful way

to share HD video. Unfortunately, the cost of

creating each channel can be well over $20,000.

The ZeeVee founders felt that if they could drive

the price to under $1,000, they could revolutionize

how VGA and HD video is distributed in a building.

A cost reduction this significant does not come

easily. You start from scratch and completely

re-engineer every single item in the system. Mil-

lions of dollars and several years of stealth R&D

later, ZeeVee introduced a consumer product for

the home. It sent VGA video from any computer

over existing coax to every HDTV… and retailed

for $499. Immediately, savvy commercial systems

integrators asked for a heavy-duty version, and

the race was on. The new ZvPro line is a more

powerful version of the consumer product, but

still shares the same low-cost roots. ZeeVee owns

and controls all of this technology, and intends to

continue to expand their value advantage.

• Switch via RS-232, USB, IR or Front Panel

• Digital and Analog Audio Input

• All inputs buffered and looped through

• 1080, 720 and 480 encoding

• Up to 30mbs encoding for high quality

• Extremely low-latency encoding for interactive applications

• Well-formed QAM output, fits into any available channel

• Frequncy agile from channel 2 to 141

• Built-in spectrum analyzer shows what else is on the cable

Zv’s Top Ten Revelations1) Coaxial wiring can carry 135 unique HD channels *simultaneously*

2) Each of your video sources will become a unique channel

3) Use off-the-shelf HDTVs without needing anything additional at each TV

• Just tune in the channel that you want

4) Serve an unlimited number of TVs with the same technology the cable

company uses to light up an entire city

5) Merge your channel onto an existing cable lineup – share the resource

6) To add your new channel

• Connect your video source to a ZvPro 280

• Connect the output of the ZvPro to a “Combiner”

• Connect the other leg of the “Combiner” to the existing cable

• A “Combiner” is just a $5 splitter used backwards!

7) To add a TV

• Cut the coax near the new TV

• Add a $5 splitter and a piece of coax

• You’re done

8) Coax cable is inexpensive - about 6 cents per foot

• Coax wiring is often already in place, making it… free

9) Coax installation requires simple tools, and no special skills

• Home-run wiring is not required, significantly simplifies deployment

10) For big systems, a $50 off-the-shelf cable amplifier will boost the signal

of all channels, to every display.

“I am quite happy to find the ZV box, and it works as well or better than I could ever hope… I haven’t been this excited by something for a long time.”“Are you guys for real?”

Private Cable Operators can now affordably upgrade their MATV systems to HD. Shown is HD satellite content being

distributed on-premise.

“We were able to distribute our HD signal for the Billboard Latin Music Awards from the production truck throughout the venue and backstage in HD using coax!” said Telemundo’s Mike Siegelman. “The pictures were excellent. We were very pleased with the product.”
