INTERESTING FACTS

• Water Pollution is the poison of water bodies ( ex lakes, rivers, ocean)

• Our earth is covered with 70% of water.

• About 20% of the world’s population don’t have safe healthy water to

drink.

• 50% of the world’s population don’t have clean water.

• Beaches around the world are closed regularly because of the polluted

water.

• Every year in the world, polluted water effect the health and death of

people.

LESSON LEARNED

Our litters dump in the sea cause problem. Animals get caught in ring

packaging. Each item that are thrown in the ocean takes different lengths

of time to degrade. For an example cardboard takes two weeks to degrade.

Another example, glass takes long to degrade that no one knows how long.

SPREADING THE WORD

• Put posters on the wall of Haine School enterance and cafeteria.

• Passing out pamphlets to students, parents, and my community.

• Email the information to my friends on AOL and ask them to share with

their friends and families.

MY PLEDGE

• I pledge to take responsibility to prevent pollution of our water.

• I will follow some guidelines to protect water in my everyday life.

• I will educate my friends and family about water pollution and

guidelines for them to follow.
