Purpose

The purpose of my experiment is to find out if customers would prefer a Zune or a Ipod. I am very interested in finding out the results.

Hypothesis

Looking at the chart that compares the Zune and the Ipod, I would pick the Zune. It has a nice big screen that would be good for videos and it has a long 30 hour battery too. The Ipod also has some cool features that Zune doesn't have such as all the colors that it comes in, it also is smaller and weighs less. I think that most people are going to prefer the Zune.

Experimental Design

I give each person the chart and the picture and asked them to read it carefully and choose which one they would prefer.

Analysis

I could have given them more than the chart and the picture to choose from. I could have used my cousins' Zune and Ipod as physical items to help them choose.

Conclusion

My hypothesis was correct, most of the people preferred the Zune, mostly because it has a wide screen. Some of the people I asked said that they were both pretty much the same thing but the Zune just had a wider screen and looked better. This was an interesting experiment for me and I really enjoyed doing it. I learned a lot from it and it was actually fun.
