The bEginning

You have received a letter a letter from the cdc warning you of a fast moving zombie outbreak.

Working in your “community”, you are responsible for creating a persuasive letter that will convince the cdc that your group is the

most worthy of receiving the vaccine.

You alone are responsible for ensuring that you are represented in your group’s letter. If you are not, you will not receive the vaccine.

Contagion!

Unbeknownst to you, a local community has already been contaminated with the virus.

Still retaining a shred of their human capabilities, they too are writing a letter to persuade the cdc to send them the vaccine.

If they are successful in their endeavor, your group becomes a food source for them as they begin to turn.

Plan of actionStart planning your letter by filling out your zombie character sheet. On the back, select the 2 rhetorical appeals and 3 persuasive techniques your

community will use in their letter.

Be sure that you have included all necessary elements for your character.

Once your letter has been planned, you need to get a laptop and create a shared document for your group. In your document you are to type up your

letter.

Please remember that there should be no identifiable information in your letter that leads back to you. It must focus solely on your characters.

AT THE END of the week we will share our letters with one another and vote on which community gets the vaccine.
