The service is now available to a considerable number of towns in Italy. As in some cases local conditions in that country are not yet such as regularly to ensure good results, enquiry should be made of "Trunks" as to the possibility of effective conversation.

ADJUDICATION OF CONTRACTS.

1. The contract for supplying 500 metres cube of adassieh for asphalting Km. 0.5 of the Ramle-Lydda road has been awarded to M R . MOHAMAD A WAD YUNIS of Ramie at 318 mils per metre cube. Period of contract is 2 months.

'2. The contract for supplying 2720 metres cube of soling stone and 1360 metres cube of broken stone for Nes Ziyona-Nebi Rubin road has been awarded to M R . MUSTAFA IVHALIL JAMAL of Ramie at 280 mils per metre cube and 447 mils per metre cube respectively. Period of contract is 3 months.

3. The contract for supplying stone chippiogs for the construction of Nes Ziyona-Nebi Rubin

road has been awarded to Mu. MOHAMAD A W A D YUNIS of Ramie at 510 mils per metre cube. Period of contract is 2 months.

4. The contract for carrying out improvements to the Bir Khweifeh Village Water Supply — Beersheba Sub District — has been awarded to M R . SHAFIK MUSHTAHA of Beersheba at 30°/״ above P .W.D. estimate rates. Period of con­tract is 40 days.

5. The conlract for carrying out improvements to the Bir Al Soufi Village Water Supply — Beersheba Sub District — has been awarded to M R . SHAFIK MUSHTAHA of Beersheba at 2 0 ° / o

above P.W.D. estimate rates. Period of con­tract is 30 days.

6. The contract for carrying out improvements to the Bir Khalasa Village Water Supply — Beersheba Sub District — has been awarded to M R . HUSNT E L HILOU of Beersheba at 5 ° / Q

8. The contract for the erection of a Police Post — Type ' B ' — at Jisr Ban it Yaqub, has been awarded to M R . W A S S S F L A H H A M of Nazareth at LP.1,133 634 mils. Period of con­tract is 135 working days.

9. The contract for 2,900 metres of trench excavation, laying of about 8,303 metres of 18 inch main pipes and carrying out ancillary work*, Jerusalem Water Supply Construction, has been awarded to MESSRS. JOHN EZRA and MOHAMED S H A H E E N of Jerusalem at LP.3,848.900 mils. Period of contract is 10 weeks.

It is notified for general information that in future notices intended for publication in the Palestine Gazette should be addressed, together with the appropriate publication fees, direct to the Superintendent of Printing and Stationery, Russian Buildings, Jerusalem.

Notices of registration of Companies, Co­operative Societies, Trade Marks and Patents will not be accepted for publication unless submitted through the appropriate Registrar.

Orders with regard to the administration of the estates of deceased persons or probate of wills, and any orders issued under the Companies Ordinance, 1929, or in accordance with any other Ordinance or Order of the Court, and notices of registration and dissolution of partnerships will not be inserted unless passed for publication by the Court.
