"I chose to display

these student's

Zentangles because

I felt that each pro-

ject was well

thought-out and

well executed. The

students spent time

and effort in

creating a variety of

different designs

and patterns for

their images and I

thought that the

end result had a

very professional

appearance. I really

appreciate their

hard work and

effort on the

project."

“I like taking pictures because it’s fun, and it captures

memories. I love taking pictures and being able to look

back at them and say things like ‘Remember that ice

storm we got with all that snow?’ or ‘Hey remember

our senior year when…’ I love hearing what others

think about the pictures I have taken over the years.

Each person had a different way of looking at them.”

"A picture is

worth a

words."

Music

I love my music LOUD; it’s my escape of this reality that I live in. Without music

there is no life. If music is the food of love, then play on. Don’t be afraid to let the

bass drop. Put those headphones on or turn that radio up full blast and get lost in

the sound of that song, deep in the sea of music. Music is everywhere; you just

have to listen. Music can speak more than the mouth can ever say. If you listen

closely, it’s like the music is speaking to you. You can tell a lot about someone by

the music they listen to. Music can change you and your life if you let it. Music

can be your best friend or your worst enemy.

Everyone has a song playing in their heart; everyone has someone who has that

song playing in theirs. All you have to do is listen closely for the two songs to play

as one. Keep listening for that song, and when you hear it playing, that’s when

you truly know the sound of love and the sound of music.

A Dream

Darkness creeps in,

then lights,

oh the lights!

Quickly it changes,

melting away.

Dark and dreary,

a girl of great beauty,

emerges from the dark.

“Run!” she screams, “for

we must embark!”

“People are after us,

for meant to be we are,

but others do not be-

lieve,

do not want,

for us to be.”

We begin to run,

others chase.

But soon enough,

we stop,

and embrace.

The scene melts away,

but I won’t let her leave.

I grab hold to her,

pull her in tight.

I protect her from the

men around.

holding my ground,

I protect the one I love.

Pretty,

kind,

loving,

caring.

The one I know to be-

lieve

is the one meant for me.

Together,

forever,

we will be.

OUR FREEDOM

Righteousness they seek, and their eyes search for peace.

Standing up for their nation to make injustices decrease.

For their presence gained respect, for their country they die,

Taking loyalty and honor to the ground where they lie.

As they rise up, their heads toward their heart hold their hand.

The one thing man wants is to protect his land.

For “liberty and freedom” and to “justice for all.”

Partners out through the battle to side rise or fall.

A victory call is what they all want to hear…

They know ear lies head and that the enemy’s near.

Yet, they are not afraid to perhaps lose their life.

Because they are not already know, that for freedom they fight.

So they give their lives and they give souls,

to Fight for their country, both young hearts and old.

Though, the scars have been made, from the years that have passed.

But they know they fought bravely,

To make justice and freedom last.
