Transcript of Zaxby’s and Blood Assurance co-host the Chamber of ... BIZLINK.pdf · Auto Body/Collision Repair...
Zaxby’s and Blood Assurance will co-host the August Tulla-homa Area Chamber of Com-
merce Coffee at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Trinity Lutheran Church activity center, 705 Wilson Ave.
As usual, there will be door prizes and refreshments, with food provided by Zaxby’s of Tullahoma.
Zaxby’s fast-casual restaurants feature a limited and focused menu that includes three chicken stables – tenders (“Fingerz”), wings and bone-less wings – served in a variety of ways as well as entrée-sized salads (“Zalads”), smaller “Lil Zalads,” and sandwiches.
An array of sauces are available to coat boneless and bone-in chicken wings: hot honey mustard, teriyaki, sweet & spicy, barbecue and a tradi-tional Buffalo-style hot sauce in five heat levels from wimpy to original to tongue torch to nuclear to insane.
Fingerz are traditionally served plain, with house Zax sauce for dip-ping. Catering options are available.
Ranked “Most Craveable Fast Casual in America,” Zaxby’s operates more than 620 locations in 15 states.

a city but small enough to still have the small town feel of a kind and caring community.
NHC of Tullahoma pro-vides a wide array of ther-apeutic rehabilitative and continuing care services. We offer Skilled Nursing, Hos-pice Care, Rehabilitative ser-vices, and Long-term care. I have been working at NHC of Tullahoma since March of 2016.
I am the Health Information Management
Assistant for NHC. I manage all of the medical records of all active and past residents. I think of my position as a big puzzle with paperwork which is why I love it so much.
One thing that people may not know about my job is the joy it brings to all of us when a patient starts to recover, when they can take that first step again, or start to cook their own meals… it’s truly a blessing to work at NHC of Tullahoma.
My favorite Chamber program is the Ambassadors. I truly enjoy the Ambassador meetings every month. This group is incredible, caring, and we have
so many creative minds getting together. It has taught me a lot already and is helping me understand more about businesses in Tullahoma and more about the Chamber.
The best advice I’ve ever been given is to be honest and true to who I am. Everyone is different and everyone has a different story. Be humble.
If I had to give advice to other young professionals it would be: “To believe in yourself even in the toughest moments… believe that you can reach your goals.”

It isn’t unusual to hear the words “We have the greatest job in the world” while visiting Celebration Travel. Serving travelers for over 30 years the full service travel agency originally opened in 1984. Agency owner and
Certified Travel Consultant Nakai Waynick has been there since 1986. That makes Celebration Travel one of the longest established travel agencies in Tennessee and the longest established agency locally. Their clients benefit from a vast amount of travel knowledge acquired over the years and excellent customer service from both Waynick and Travel Agent April Finch.
It is remarkable for any business to serve an area for three decades especially in the travel industry. Internet competition eliminated a vast number of local agencies as the masses bought into the “it’s always cheaper on the internet” myth.
The latest industry statistics show that the tide is now shifting away from the web. Many former do it yourselfers, including millennials, are looking for more personal service with a professional consultant.
“Celebration Travel makes planning vacations easier. Clients know we have their backs if they do encounter a problem. We become their peace of mind. Many new clients walk in our office often telling us that they have spent 3 or 4 hours a night for the past several nights trying to book their own vacation and they are not any closer than they were when they started. They come in because they are frustrated and confused. What they discover is that life would have been much easier if they had just come to us in the first place. Just as thousands of satisfied clients have learned over our three decades of serving Middle Tennessee.” said Waynick.
“They are even more excited when they discover that we do not charge a fee for vacation planning. We work out the details in a short

amount of time, give them options and our goal is to always get the best value. Even if the package they choose cost the same as booking direct we do all the work, and the tour operator pays us not the client. The only service fee is on airline tickets purchased outside of a package. In other words, we work for you and are paid by them so the client wins.” added Finch.
Celebration Travel’s next group trip is planned for May 31, 2017 says Waynick. “We are hosting a trip to my home state of Hawaii. It has been a few years since we have been there and several people have asked that we take another group. We will enjoy Oahu for three days and then take a 7-day cruise to the other major islands including Maui, Kauai and the island of Hawaii which the locals call The Big Island. I blocked 40 spaces and 25% of them are already taken.” Nakai’s husband Tom will also be traveling with the group.
If it is on your bucket list, Celebration Travel can get you there. “We literally make reservations worldwide including air, car, hotel, cruises, vacation packages, independent or group travel both domestic and international. If you can dream it, we can get you there.” Call 931-684-2111 or e-mail ctinfo@

Here at the Chamber we are busy gearing up for the 60th Annual Tullahoma Christmas Parade sponsored by Stan McNabb Auto-
