About ZACK BOONE
Zack Boone is an Irish recording artist and producer, whose music
has featured on BBC Radio, and in various international
award-winning movies. He is a multi-instrumentalist and
vocalist, but is equally adept in a studio control room.
He has a degree in Biotechnology,
captained his County Under 21 Gaelic Football
team and was a National Junior Discus Champion.
His track Is It True? was chosen by Tom Robinson
as a BBC6 Radio, Top 15 track of 2015. Boone was subsequently
asked by Robinson to support the 80's pop legend on his Irish tour.
In February 2016, Zack Boone signed an international music publishing deal
with GD78 Music for his track Ellis Island.

'If atomic explosions or speed metal aren’t your thing, Zack Boone
probably is. After decades of living in towns and cities, the enigmatic
singer/songwriter wrote and recorded eleven 4am songs in an attempt
to preserve what was left of his sanity.
Weary from sound overkill, too many hours in the studio, and being a
long-term misophonia sufferer, the multi-instrumentalist stopped listening
to mainstream radio, and threw his TV in the skip. As a result, his debut
album ended up sounding like a warm bath in winter.
Zack Boone’s music seems to be an extension of his personality;
detailed and serious at first, but soft and dreamy when you get to
know it. Lyrically speaking, the likable performer can make otherwise
soppy words sound real and believable, which is a fair summation of
the man himself.
Zack Boone is the antithesis of the ‘One Directions’ of this world.
In a fantasy fight between the bitty boys and the big man,
the smart money would be on Zack. At 6’4′, and looking like an openside
flanker, you probably wouldn’t guess he was capable of producing the
kind of music he does. His song Beautiful, for example, features in the
ethereally delicate, multi-award-winning Irish movie, Patrick’s Day and
his track Is It True? was chosen by Tom Robinson to be played on
BBC Radio 6.
