IntroductionIntroductionMy name is Zachary Tinkle. I’m an up and coming pro race car driver from Park Ridge, IL and currently race half size NASCAR-style cars called minicups that I won the National Short Track Championship in.

I plan to race the minicups and the CRA/Jegs All-Star series late models next season. This is the series that racers like Erik Jones, Noah Gragson, and Kyle Busch have raced in.

My ultimate goal is to race the NASCAR Monster Energy Series with a team like Joe Gibbs Racing.

What sets me apart from other racers is that I have a YouTube channel with a loyal fan base that I’ve been doing for around three years where I do product reviews.

I’m passionate about all aspects of racing… history, trivia, video games, and of course, suiting up and going out on the track to race.

Interesting Facts: I’m a walking racing historyencyclopedia. I designed my minicup paint scheme as a tribute to Jeff Gordon’s original DuPont paint scheme. I’m a best-selling author. My great-great grandfather, Harry McQuinn, is in the National Midget Hall of Fame, raced in the Indianapolis 500, and was chief steward at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Zachary Tinkle is a 14-year-old stock car driving sensation based in Park Ridge, Illinois who currently races the #53 ½ size minicup car (also known as a super cup car). He will have a full-time minicup schedule in 2017 while participating in a late model driver development program with intentions to run a full-time late model schedule in 2018.

He is the 2016 Rockford Speedway Wild Wednesday Super Cup Champion. Tinkle is the 2015 Illinois Super Cup State Champion for the Short Track Auto Racing Series (STARS) and 2015 Rockford Speedway National Short Track Champion for Super Cups. Rockford Speedway awarded him the “Lead, Follow, or Get Out Of My Way” award for his 2015 season. He was named the 2015 Most Improved Driver and 2014 Rookie of the Year for Central States Region (CSR) Super Cups.

He has family ties to the Indianapolis, IN and Richmond, IN areas and was born in Cincinnati, OH.

Zachary has aspirations of racing at the top levels of stock car racing including getting a ride with a NASCAR® team.
