NAVIGATOR TASK & STOOL Wherever you want to go, the Navigatorfamily of seating is ready to take youthere. Each member boasts a version ofthe family’s hallmark back flex that relieson a torsion-bar mechanism to allow upto 12° of recline with gradually increasingresistance.

Along with this mechanism, fixed arms, a contoured back, and waterfall seat-edgecontribute to a comfortable seating experience every time, without anyadjustment.

Navigator task chairs and stools add a pneumatic height adjustment to thesecornerstones of passive ergonomics,ensuring a perfect fit for users of various sizes.

Achieving an aesthetic fit is just as easy.Navigator task chairs and stools are available in polypropylene and upholstered versions to suit any décor.

NAVIGATOR AIR TASK & STOOL

Navigator Air task chairs and stools take comfort to a whole new level byreplacing traditional poly or upholsteredfoam back with breathable mesh. Theback balances the need for flexibility and support by holding the supple meshtaut within a rigid frame.

Like traditional Navigator task chairs andstools, a contoured back provides lumbarsupport. Unlike traditional seating, theopen weave of the polyester mesh backimproves air circulation around the bodyfor greater thermal comfort.

The Navigator Air seating lines do more than incorporate modern materials, they project a modern aesthetic. Details like the black and grey mesh options andcantilevered fixed arms reinforce the boldgeometry and stark palette of the seating.

Arms - The fixed arms of theNavigator Air seating lines arecantilevered, seeming to floatright where you need them.

Back-Tilt - As you recline, thetorsion-bar back flex mechanismgradually increases resistanceover the entire 12° range.

Mechanism - A pneumaticmechanism beneath the seatmakes it height adjustable, providing a customized fit.

NAVIGATOR NESTING

Molded Handle - A convenient handle is moldedinto the poly back of Navigatornesting chairs.

Flip-Up Seat - Unique flip-upseats allow the chairs to benested for increased storage efficiency.

Back Flex - Engaging the torsion-bar mechanism is as easy as leaning back. No adjustments are required.

Glides - Bell glides can be usedinstead of casters when mobilityis not required.

Task chairs and stools are ideal for multipletasks in office and laboratory environments,but meeting and conference rooms requireseating with a different set of priorities.Navigator nesting chairs retain the passiveergonomic features of the family, but rely on a simpler tubular steel frame without aheight-adjustable mechanism or bulky 5-star base.

These adaptations make the nesting chairslighter and more maneuverable, a real boonfor multipurpose environments that have tobe reconfigured quickly or on a regular basis.Flip-up seats, a staggered leg design, and double-wheeled casters allow the chairs to be stored and moved collectively by a single person. A black poly flip-and-fold or a laminate flip-up tablet arm is also available.

A lighter frame doesn’t mean that these chairs are light on options. Chrome-plated or powder-coated frames in a variety of colors coordinate with seats and backs ofpolypropylene, upholstered fabric, or anycombination of the two.

Like their task chair and stool counterparts,Navigator Air nesting chairs offer modernstyle wrapped in polyester mesh. In addition to fixed arms, Navigator andNavigator Air nesting chairs are availablewith two tablet arm options.

The first is made of black polypropylene— a color-through material that minimizes the appearance of scratchesand scuffs. This arm can be folded downbeside the seat when it is not in use.

The second option uses a more typicallaminated-wood construction that flips up for easy entry. This rugged tablet-armis D-shaped to maximize the usable work area.

Both tablet arms are available in right-and left-hand configurations and whenstowed, neither impedes the chairs’ nesting capability.

Mesh Back - The foundationof the Navigator Air line is itspolyester mesh available in black or grey.

Tablet Arms - Nesting chairscan be specified with a blackpoly flip-and-fold tablet arm or a flip-up laminate tablet arm.

Just as the uses for guest seating aren’tlimited to the office or classroom, itsmodels shouldn’t be limited to nestingchairs. Stack chairs capitalize on the often-overlooked vertical component of storagespaces by stacking up to 4-high on thefloor or 5-high on custom dollies.

Navigator stack chairs are offered with three bases. While the cantilevered sled base can only be ordered armless or with fixed arms, the full sled and straight four-leg bases can also be specified with two choices of laminated-wood tablet arms.

Flip-Up Tablet Arm - measures 12.75" x 19.5" and flips up out of the wayfor easy in and out.

G2 Flip-&-Fold Tablet Arm -an additional option forNavigator Stack Chairs, theG2 is slightly larger and foldsout of the way.

Arms - The stack chair’s polyloop arms are cleverly designedto interfere with neither its flexibleback nor its stacking capability.

Rubber Glides - protect floor surfaces from marring and scuffing when chairs withsled bases are slid or pushedacross them.

Stack - Even with their plushupholstered seats, NavigatorAir chairs can be safelystacked 4-high on the floor.

Navigator Air Stack chairs can only bespecified with a flip-up laminated-woodtablet arm, cantilever arms, or no arms.The tablet arm provides a sizable workarea and flips up via a hinge mechanismto allow access to the seat.

Two bases are available for the NavigatorAir stack chair—a four-leg and a full sledbase. Both bases are compatible with the tablet arm as well as the cantileveredfixed arm that spans the entire NavigatorAir line.
