2 weeks of training◦ Classroom – almost entire 2 weeks◦ Some Shadowing◦ Some employees explaining their jobs◦ Follow-up with Training Survey
Current schedule
Make training more fun! What we learn along with our job is intense With more open ideas, the students can
learn quicker and retain the information longer
Set up mentors for the new hires with someone to be their main person to go to for questions (similar to a lead but anyone on the floor will work)
New Training Ideas
2 weeks◦ Week 1 – Classroom for introduction, Case Scene
Investigation (CSI) history from beginning to closure, schedule a guest speaker to give a 20 minute overview of their area (EST, ENF, Legal, Finance and Clerical), games (Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, CSI and Price is Right)
◦ Week 2 – Hands on in the class room – allows the students to participate and show their knowledge and ask questions, case scenario's for the students to review
◦ Week 3 – Follow-up survey

Jeopardy – questions and answers◦Terminology for $100 (What is the custodial
parent known as? CP)◦Modification Review for $300 (How often are
modifications required to be done? 3 years)
Wheel of Fortune – Hangman with CS acronyms NCP = non-custodial parent
LKA = last known address DRA = domestic relations affidavit
New Training games
CSI – Case Scene Investigation (EST – learn how to complete a case from beginning to ENF)◦ Lets follow the stops to solve a case:1. PA Referral or application received2. Intake opens case3. Case is then transferred where? EST
Price is Right (ENF – learn how to set arrears scenarios)◦ Current $300 arrears = ?◦ Current $1000 arrears = ?◦ Current $500 arrears = ?

Week 5 – Follow-up survey again and sit with each student to see if there are any areas they are struggling with
Review with student’s mentor on how they are progressing

Week 8 – Follow-up again by sitting one on one with each student to see if they feel they missed anything in class and answer any questions they have
Again review with mentor to see how student is progressing
