The selection is highlighted in white to help the user identify the active area.

2. Collapsible Sidebar

The application’s main menu has moved from the top to the left side of the user’s window.

The left-hand navigation menus are now collapsible on almost all of the v8 pages.

3. Collapsible Search and View Menus

We have redesigned a lot of the pages to now include collapsible Search and View menus. This allows the user to maximize the

data that is onscreen.

4. Help - Smart Guides

In an effort to make onboarding new users easier, or to better understand how new features work, we have begun to implement a

tutorial-driven smart guide. These tutorials will guide your users through functionality by interacting directly with the

application. We will be continuing to roll these guides out over the upcoming year.

Note: The tutorials are only available when a Help icon is present.

5. Overflow Menu

In an effort to simplify the application, we have moved some of the non-essential functions into an overflow menu. The overflow

menu provides a minimal design when three or more options are available and may vary from page to page.

Additional Updates - Drag and Drop Upload

We’ve added a quick and easy way to upload files into YPLM by dragging and dropping them from your computer to the browser.

Available in most areas that you upload images or upload attachments.

The user interface detects the screen size/resolution and automatically formats the onscreen data to fit the user’s screen. This also

includes the search and header attributes.
