Entry to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve is included. Days 3-4: Whitehorse – Dawson Journey along the Klondike Highway stop at the historic towns of Elso and Keno to Dawson City where you spend 2 nights. A full day at leisure in Dawson city – visit the SS Keno, the Jack London Interpretive Center, and Dredge# 4. For those keen to walk or hike we recommend you visit Tombstone Territorial Park – often called “The Patagonia of Canada”. Day 5: Dawson City – The Dempster Highway – Eagle Plains Drive the Dempster Highway and travel through the spectacular subarctic wilderness of Tombstone Provincial Park to remote Eagle Plains. Day 6 Eagle Plains – Cross the Arctic Circle – Inuvik Today you cross the Arctic Circle, passing through the Richardson Mountains you leave the Yukon and enter the Northwest Territories. Day 7: Inuvik At leisure to explore this remote Arctic settlement and its surroundings. Day tours are available to Tuktoyaktuk or Herschel Island, or a sightseeing flight to view the Arctic Ocean from above. Day 8: Inuvik – Eagle Plains Drive the Dempster Highway south to Eagle Plains. Day 9: Eagle Plains – Dawson City Continue south on the Dempster Highway to Dawson City. Day 10: Dawson City – Mayo Join the Silver Trail Highway towards Mayo – this area was once the richest silver mining area of Canada. Day 11: Mayo – Whitehorse Going south, enjoy the raw beauty of the surrounding landscape. Stopover at the Five Finger Rapids and hike down to the shore of the Yukon River.
