The Great Dividing RangeThe Great Dividing Range was formed some 300 million years ago when Australia collided with what is now parts of South America and New Zealand. The range has experienced significant erosion since.

It is the 3rd longest mountain range in the world.

It is 3,500 km long and runs the entire length of Australia’s east coastline.
