The Gir Forest National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is a haven for many of India’s endangered animals. The vast forest is filled with lush botanical life from evergreen flora, acacia and scrub jungle to grasslands. All are nestled among rocky hills.

Engage with wildlife from a thrilling vantage point: species such as the Indian lion, rare birds, leopards, sambhar, chital, wild boars, jackals and savana are permanent fixtures of this evergreen habitat.

The seven major perennial and seasonal rivers on the Gir Jungle Trail flow to the area’s largest reservoir, the Kamleshwar Dam, which is a key source of life for the Devalia Safari Park. This is a prime viewing area for crocodiles and birds as well.

By supporting this animal sanctuary with safari tourism, you can join the proud mission of the park in supporting conservation and re-population of several species that stood at the brink of extinction in the beginning of the 21st century.
