New ways to learn this summer! Join the 2015 Summer R.E.A.D.ing Program!

You can be a superhero by reading and learning all summer long!Reading and learning gives you the power to be anything you want to be! Just register for one of the Library’s summer reading games, record your reading, try some of our exciting programs and build powers to learn and grow that will help you someday conquer the world! Each branch will feature different thrilling programs and activities for your super summer fun. You can participate in two different ways this year:

With three different reading programs:n Summer R.E.A.Ding Program t Preschool: Every Hero Has a Story. Goal: 50 books t Children: Every Hero Has a Story. Goal: 16 hours reading t Teen: Unmask! Goal: 12 hours reading, 5 online activities

Summer R.E.A.D.ing Programs for YouthThe Summer R.E.A.D.ing Program is a fun way to encourage young people to read, explore and discover all summer long! Children ages 18 and under can register for the Summer R.E.A.D.ing Program and enter to win prizes and rewards. But it’s more than just reading incentives; the Summer R.E.A.D.ing Program also includes a summer full of free programs, learning activities, story times, computer classes, family fun nights, entertaining shows and performances. June 6-August 1, plus bonus read!

Online Summer R.E.A.D.ing Program The Online Program makes it easy to record your reading. Find the program online on your mobile device or on a library computer. Every reader will have their own home page that lists their reading challenges and awards. Anyone can participate online!
