HunterNet Group Training Company and Frost Security Locksmiths are seeking a passionate individual to join the Frost Security team as an Apprentice Locksmith.

This four-year apprenticeship will allow the successful applicant to complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Locksmithing, as well as gaining on the job experience with a reputable company.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

Key cutting

Assist with installation of Restricted Master Key systems

Assist with installation of Electronic Access Control systems

Automotive locksmithing services

Service repair and install security systems, both manual and electronic

Service repair and install security door devices and systems

Manual handling of tools and devices

Completion of all practical and theory-based components of the apprenticeship

Woodrising Natural Learning Centre is a non-profit, long day care centre situated in beautiful Lake Macquarie. We cater for 39 children per day, aged 2-6years.

Our centre has a large, natural playground - complete with a boat, trickle stream, mud pit, chickens, gardens and much more! We are passionate about providing an interest based program for children in an aesthetically pleasing environment. We are seeking an early childhood trainee to join our team on 6th May 2019. The position will be approximately 21 hours per week (5 days). You will work towards obtaining your Certificate 111 in Children’s Services while being provided with on the job training by our experienced team. The part time traineeship runs for a period of 24 months however early completion is possible.

The Little Unicorn Early Education and Preschool Centre at Broadmeadow currently seeks to employ a full-time Certificate 111 TRAINEE to commence from April, 2019. The trainees will undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, with the contract period being for 12 months.

Inspirations Paint is Australia’s leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. A part time or full time position for a trainee Desktop Support Officer with strong service ethic has become available. This is an entry level position and we are looking for someone who is organised and has the ability to multi-task, while supporting our Franchise members.

Working with our National Office team, on a day to day basis you will be responsible for ensuring the receipt and resolution of level 1 support desk calls, keeping all training materials relating to the systems updated with relevant and accurate infor-mation. While responsible for co-ordinating support desk jobs using JIRA (Atlassian), you may be required to assist on pro-ject work.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you are currently studying towards a tertiary qualification in a relevant IT field. No previous experience in desktop support is required, however would be an advantage. You must have excellent attention to detail with exceptional customer service skills. As our ‘front line’ customer support you must be able to patiently and successfully translate technical ‘jargon’ into layman’s terms and have demonstrated com-munication skills including conflict resolution and negotiation. You will need the ability to resolve issues respectfully, logi-cally and professionally. You will enjoy problem solving and working within a small team. Based in the National Office in Warners Bay, this is a challenging and interesting role with a company that has National reach. Key to your application will be a positive personality, and a ‘can-do’ attitude. You will receive compensation in line with your experience, and time will be provided to enable ongoing study and meet exam requirements. You may be re-quired to be on-call outside of normal business hours as per a roster.

Core Responsibilities include:

Support/Service Desk Support using JIRA support system, ensuring support is provided in a timely and accurate manner within the terms of the service level agreement or escalating these as required.

Provide support functions to Franchise Members and work with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve issues

Hardware and Software Support to Business Systems including Pronto, MS Office, Server 2010, Exchange 2010

Participate in team meetings and suggest improvements to processes

Assist in the rollout of Learning & Development programs for Stores by creating webinars and/or updating IT self-help training guides.

The ideal person will have the following attributes:

Experience using a service desk or database management system is an advantage however not essential

Currently enrolled and completing Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field

Demonstrated ability to problem solve

Advanced customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly

Hands on technical experience working with computers and substantial knowledge of software and hardware products and their applications
