WHAT: The purpose of the Youth Leadership Forum is to promote self-advocacy and inclusion for youth with disabilities while providing the opportunity to network and develop skills that will be useful as they transition from school into adulthood. The Forum will include:

Keynote Presentation on Self-Advocacy and Leadership by Everett Diebler of the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living

Youth sessions that include interactive presentations by self-advocates / professionals on topics such as employment, setting personal goals, self-advocacy , and life beyond school

Parent / caregiver sessions will focus on resources and information related to adult services, funding, and benefits.

Small-group discussion among youth, parents/caregivers, self-advocates, and professionals.
