Youth LEAD Workshops

EXPLORING LEADERSHIP AND GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP IN THE CURRICULUM

We bring customized fun, hands-on learning & curriculum-based workshops for students on leadership, communication and global citizenship.

Empowered for Excellence Youth LEAD (Leadership Em-powerment and Development) offers customized engag-ing curriculum-based workshops for grade eight students, high school students and school clubs such as ‘Social Jus-tice’, ‘Eco Club’ and ‘Me to We’. We design the workshops in collaboration with teachers for maximum student en-gagement using hands-on activities, technology and dif-ferentiated instruction techniques. The workshops equip students to develop their character, competence, commu-nication, capacity and community impact, enabling them to be effective leaders and active global citizens.

Our Youth LEAD workshops focus on educating youth using our core guidelines of empowerment which are to: DO MORE, BE MORE, LOVE MORE, VALUE MORE and GIVE MORE for personal success while influencing change. We equip students to BE MORE by educating them on skills needed for success to help raise their global awareness and stand up for their beliefs. The skills we focus on are: Personal Knowledge and Management Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Leadership Skills, Planning Skills, Global Citizenship, Sustainability, Community Engagement, Critical Thinking, Communication, Theory, Application, Transitions and Change but we are not limited to these topics.
