Oaks Indian Mission Individuals of all ages are invited to join us on a ser-vice trip to Oaks Indian Mission in Oaks, Oklahoma April 17-23, 2016. In addition to doing some ser-vice work, we will have the opportunity to explore the Cherokee culture through language, art, and other activities. We are looking at an estimated cost per person of $350. We have the opportunity to do some fundraising to help offset costs, if participants are interested. If you’re interested, contact Lori (sooner rather than later).

Bible Quest Christmas Program

Join us for a delightful telling of the Nativity story on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 6pm, with a pot-luck to follow. Everyone is invited to this pro-gram (please note that there will not be a Sunday morning program).

Christmas Bake/Craft Sale! The confirmation youth are having a large bake/craft sale starting at 10:30 on Sunday, Dec. 13. Lots of delicious treats and handmade crafts for sale! We will also have drawings for 3 gift baskets (tickets can be purchased from Lori starting Dec. 6th). All proceeds go towards the youths’ “Christmas Dinners” program to provide groceries for those in need in the area. For more information, to donate items for the sale (or money for the groceries), or to recommend someone in need, please contact Lori.

Christmas Break Bible Quest, Confirmation, and Children’s Chapel will be on Christmas break from Dec. 20 - Jan. 3. Programs will resume Wednesday, Jan. 6.

Our next meeting will be Monday, Dec. 7 at 5:30pm in the library. All are welcome to attend.
