Youth exchange “Together for active lifestyle”

“Together for active lifestyle” project is an initiative of committed young Europeans to raise awareness on the importance of healthy and active lifestyle and to encourage young people to take active part in the promotion of these principles in their communities as well.

Champions Factory brings together young people from different parts of Europe with big differ-ence in upbringing, education, and cultural backgrounds and learn about health importances and cultures during a youth exchanges in Varna (Bulgaria).

Objectives:

- To foster inter-cultural exchange of traditions, experiences, habits, exploring the nature, through outdoor activities

- To raise awareness about the importance of healthy and active living among young Europeans

- To developing young people’s skills to become more active and responsible Europeans citizens

- To empower young people to promote healthy and active living in their communities

- To providing opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities to develop their skills and competences through sport in intercultural environment

The setting for the project is an outdoor setting, as we believe that an outdoor environment and physical activities are very suitable to reach the project objectives as an informal learning envi-ronment.

Participants

Participants profile1. Gender balance. Equal number of male and female participants will be invited.2. All participants must be aged 18-30. Group leaders (2 per country out of the total number of

participants) are with no age limit.3. Each national group should include 3 participants with fewer opportunities - cultural or geo-

graphical difficulties.4. Be motivated to learn about healthy lifestyle.5. Be committed to attend for the full duration of the exchange.

All participants should fill in REGISTRATION FORM by 20th May 2017.Travel arrangements:- Polish Participants will travel by transfer organised by their sending organisation- Romanian participants are supported to travel only from Bucharest to Varna.- Turkish Participants are supported to travel from Istanbul to Varna by bus, ideally Nishikli

Travel!- United Kingdom participants to travel by Plane directly to Varna Airport. Bucharest Airport can

be used as an alternative airport and from there we will arrange your transfer to Varna with the Romanian Group.

- Do not book any tickets before confirming your travel plan with our team! If you book tickets that haven’t been confirmed by our team we are not going to reimburse the expenses you made!

Practical information

A. Travel:❖ According to the new rules within the Programme “Erasmus+” we will reimburse the

travel costs on the basis of the cheapest possibilities, e.g. second class railway tickets, APEX-flights etc., accompanied by the receipt of complete and original tickets, invoices, bills, receipts, boarding cards etc. upon a certain “contribution to the travel costs of participants, from their place of origin to the venue of the activity and return”. This contribution is “based on the travel distance per participant.

❖ Above you can find the maximum contribution to travel costs for ONE participant per country from the city of registration of the organisation to the venue and back. Travel Costs will be reimbursed upon presented all original travel documents and invoices after completion of each activity.

Checklist for Travel Reimbursements 1. Regular air tickets must be accompanied• By the original invoice (signed and stamped)/receipt/pay order/proof of payment• The boarding pass (the small ticket stub you receive before boarding the plane)• The prices stated in the invoices, receipts etc. must coincide with the price on the ticket.2. E-Tickets• must be printed out and include your name, the exact fare you paid, details of your flight

on the same page• be provided along with the credit card receipt for the payment or a copy of your bank

statement (clearly showing the payment has been made) given in with the boarding pass (the small ticket stub you receive before boarding the plane)

3. Train/Bus tickets• It is important that that arrival and departure time, as well as the price are visible (+in-

voices if available).N.B. • Arrival dates should be maximum one day prior the start of the event.• Departure dates should be maximum +1 day. • For flight tickets search is recommended to use www.skyscanner.org• In case there are no suitable flights to Varna, you can look up flights to Sofia or Bucharest

and from there we can organise a bus/train transfer. From Varna Airport you should get bus 409 and take off at station “Pisatel”, where the hotel is located. You can purchase a ticket only inside the bus - there will be a person, who will approach you and ask you to pay 1 BGN - in return he will give you the ticket. You can pay only in Bulgarian Lev.

N.B. Within 10 days after the end of the project each partner organisation and participant must implement a dissemination activity in their country and send to championsfactoryuk@gmail.com a small written report with pictures and explanation.

B. Accommodation ❖ Participants will be hosted in same gender triple bedrooms in Hotel Pisatel ❖ Accommodation and meals are provided by Champions Factory.❖ Share with us if you have certain dietary requirements, e.g. vegetarian, etc.

D. Insurance and VISA❖ Every participant must have insurance for the full duration of the exchange. We will not

accept people without an insurance. We will ask all participants to send us their original insur-ance together with original travel documents!

❖ VISA - send us via e-mail Scan of Passport if you need VISA support letter.

E. Must know❖ Participation fee: 35 euro per participant – will be collected at the first day of the exchange

at registration point. It is non-refundable.❖ Currency in Bulgaria – Bulgarian Lev❖ Every participant must attend the full duration of the activity. If a participant refuses or

behaves in inappropriate manner, Champions Factory will request him/her to pay the the full organisational costs: 32euro/per day and will not reimburse travel costs.

F. Bring with yourself❖ Comfortable clothes - we will have many outdoor sports; swimsuit, summer scarfs, etc.❖ Information materials of your organisation - flyers, posters, business cards, etc.❖ Typical food/drinks/dance costumes/presentation/story/interesting facts that you

could present your country with during the Intercultural evening!❖ The good mood! :)
