LOCKDOWN WELLBEING TIMETABLELOCKDOWN WELLBEING TIMETABLEWhile the UK is in lockdown it is more important than ever to look after yourself.

Put self care and a healthy lifestyle at the top of your to-do list, every day.

8 Do a household chore. Keep your home tidy. Clear out your wardrobe or clean a cupboard.

8 Get creative. Do something fun, e.g. paint, sing, edit photos, write a poem or story.

8 Connect. Talk to someone. Check in with family or a friend. Send a text or letter.

8 Have a purpose. Can you volunteer? E.g. shop for a neighbour.

8 Keep your mind active. Read, do a crossword or puzzle. Limit your media time.

8 Cook dinner. Make something from scratch. Try a new recipe. Aim to keep alcohol to a minimum.

AF TERNOONAF TERNOON

8 Relax. Do something you enjoy. Watch a good movie, read or listen to music.

8 Don’t go to bed late! Turn your screens off an hour before bed, to enjoy better sleep. Sleep tight!

EVENINGEVENING

8 Get dressed. Enjoy a healthy, tasty breakfast and drink water. Try not to lie in!

8 Look after your body. Take deep breaths, gently stretch and move your body. Walk, dance or try an online workout (search www.youtube.com).

8 Look after your mind. Write down how you feel each day. Try a yoga or meditation class online or download a free wellbeing app (search NHS Apps

Library on www.nhs.uk) List 3 things you are grateful for. Notice 5 things outside your window.

8 Challenge Yourself! Teach yourself to make curry or jam, knit, write a blog or even learn a language.

8 Eat lunch. Prepare it yourself. Note the colour, texture, smell & taste of your food.
