Cloudy2Clear Windows - Service with a smile!t’s been a crazy few months for Cloudy2Clear Windows. The company which specialises in

repairing windows which are steamed up, broken or damaged by replacing the panes - not the frames has grown rapidly as homeowners take advantage of their services.

Managing Director Billy Harley feels that it’s all about service. ‘Our product is simple. If your double glazing is misted up we can replace the glass at a fraction of the cost of a new window, in any type of frame, and with a new 5 year guarantee. But it’s not just about saving people money, although that obviously helps.

Many tradespeople have struggled since last year and I honestly feel that during the good times a minority perhaps didn’t focus on customer care as much as they should have done. We make sure we turn up when we say we will, do the job the

customer requires and leave their house as clean as a whistle. I often get comments back from customers on how they really didn’t expect that sort of service which, in a way, is very sad for the service industry as a whole.

’ Cloudy2Clear service the Milton Keynes, Bedford and Leighton Buzzard areas and Billy is finding that his

approach is a major factor in his success. ‘The truth is that it’s not just the personal satisfaction that I get from doing a good job but also it makes good business sense. I get a huge amount of business from friends and family of people I’ve done work for, which just goes to show how much a little bit of effort is appreciated .’

I

So, if your windows are steamed up, broken or damaged give billy a call for a free quotation on 0800 61 21 118 and he’ll be happy to help!

We all connect together to form this thing called life.We do the best we can with tools we have available as we work through live experiences we choose to have. Yet this current slot in history is fraught with challenges, fear and tension that affect the way we think and so behave on a daily basis. We are taught to live a good life and to be happy, to be respectful and kind to others and basically how to love; but when it comes down to facing challenges and opinions we don’t agree with, do we have the understanding to pass through them unhurt, unscathed? Outside your window the sky is blue (or not if today it rained), your world continues as it does each passing moment. Any problems that arise are faced and overcome. Your life though hard is not too bad when matched with others like for like.Yet it cannot be denied that wider life is shaky. Much depends on other people doing all they should correctly so things stay smooth. Family, community, economics, pleasure, peace… All elements of a bustling world link and work together, all interplay with your life to affect your status quo at any moment... The way you feel affects your thoughts, your words and then your actions as emotions affect your body, which naturally responds and adds to vibes unseen, whilst simultaneously the same occurs to other people as events play out. All who link in mind or thought or space react to life together to negate or validate whatever’s happening – to make it bigger, better, smaller, worse – to add more to the greater picture, even to current unrest across the globe. All energies produced work somehow somewhere. If you could ignore the news and did not read or use the media, it would be possible to live a fairly happy, non-eventful life cocooned within the boundaries of that creation. It would be possible to plod forward without too much disturbance as long as systems that you rely on perform on cue without disruption. But life’s not actually like that really is it? Instead it’s unpredictable, things happen to or around about us. Each new day brings forth new problems caused by others or circumstance beyond our present jurisdiction or control…Whether we like it or not, admit it or not, worldwide occurrences across the globe do rub off and bring us down which then affects directly how we act and think – but how far should we let them – what exactly can we do? How can you protect your mood, your thoughts, your feelings and emotions from all that’s happening?Apart from living in illusion or on a desert island we are part of life’s own real time story still unwritten and unfolding; we all have parts to play and we are powerful! When you witness any scene, hear a story or something happens physically or through the media – you automatically respond internally / externally in quick succession, depending on the level you are affected. Reactions we understand because we usually do what’s called for, but faster and far more potent is what’s dished out from us internally as we process automatically current data.Experiences liked are shared and talked about and consequently in doing so things get even better. With others of like mind we create a real time vibe, a positive charge that adds more mood, feeling, emotion, ambiance, sensation

around the subject matter, much like a ripple effect upon a pond. You’ve probably felt this for yourself when someone spoke kindly of you to another and you accidentally overheard and instantaneously you felt proud or a little puffed up like a peacock as inside you felt lifted; or the opposite when someone’s lied or said bad things, the negative energy sent caused pain or pulled you down, producing instant negative response as retaliation or self-defence and your mood dropped or went into overdrive. Or how when you access good time memories in lone or group situations, energies revived and shared will lift the mood - or vice versa when subject matter is more serious...

When you feel, hear, see or witness something you don’t like – immediately go within and ask your higher self for peace

and help. Don’t add to the situation. Imagine you can shut down, pull all defences in. Ask silently for

help for you and for all concerned. Ask that the situation can be rendered null and void and be

at best corrected, that all can be kept as small as possible so disruptions will be minimal. Watch carefully for reactions from others around you too and silently repeat the process to help them.Your thoughts and reactions go immediately to point of interest. If something happens on the news even

though its far away, you can help to make things better with your real time conscious

energy, attention and requests. This is not pretend but very real. Just look at the power of

manifestation you’ve already exercised to help your own real live unfolding story. How often have you wanted

something and it’s then appeared? How often have you had a thought – and then it’s really happened? You may not be able to control the influences of life and others through physical action, but you absolutely do control the way you think and then react – you attract / deflect. You can choose to be bought down – or you can choose to feel safe and happy. That is the point. YOU CAN CHOOSE – and so you should, for this is your life, a creative process you are programming for yourself – along with others, so your input is very necessary and extremely potent. You are not life’s victim, you are not broken, life happens and you adjust.Ensure you’re using your creative powers in the manner that works the best for love, happiness, contentment, peace and balance to stay with you…Note* If you enjoy these channelled writings then you’ll love the further channellings on our website, to help your understanding of life and soul – so please visit… Until next month;Be safe, well and happy…Be all you search outwardly for…

Positive livingHow life affects you…

ow this is a really nice car as you know by now we at Carnoisseur Towers like our fast cars and this doesn’t disappoint.

It’s a really nice drive even at slow speeds it feels good and it’s a 4x4 so holds the road really well I think you would pick this over the GTI.

The Volkswagen Golf R has two fewer letters after its name than the Golf GTI, but it’s no less impressive. In fact, if you’re after Porsche-like performance for less money, then the R will be your kind of car. It has a 0-62mph time of 4.9 seconds – over a second and a half quicker than the GTI’s 6.5-second time and the R has a top speed of a 155MPH !!

The Golf R hatchback is available with three or five doors and a choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or VW’s DSG six-speed twin-clutch automatic. The GTI-based interior has been warmed up with a few R style touches. The car rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and is finished in Tornado Red as standard. Other colours cost extra.

Inevitably, a Golf R will cost a little more to run than a GTI, but it’s a price die-hard Golf enthusiasts will probably be happy to pay in order to enjoy the model’s extra performance and exclusivity. It should hold its value at least as well as a regular GTI, and at three years or 60,000 miles, warranty is the same.

Servicing will be a little dearer, with the R’s four-wheel-drive transmission, for example, requiring additional attention. Surprisingly, insurance should be no more expensive than for the GTI.

Inside it’s also very impressive with its blue neon interior

lights great parking system if it was mine I would want leather

and sat nav but apart from that it’s well spec’d and great value for money.

My friend Stacey and I were invited to B-town to try out their fantastic Valentines Menu and what an experience we had.The décor is very modern and inviting, you really do feel relaxed and comfortable in your surroundings.Mo Abdul, the owner greeted us and showed us to our candle lit table for 2 he really made us feel welcome and looked after us very well all evening as did his staff Kash and Joanna our waiter and barmaid for the evening. Our dinner started with the B-town Valentines Signature Cocktail ‘Love Potion’ This was creamy and just tasted like strawberry milkshake with the added kick of alcohol. For our starter we had Lamb Cutlets marinated with garlic and ginger spiced with cinnamon and black cardamom, which had a little kick to it and was mouth watering. We still had room for our main course, or so we thought!

The slow cooked Lamb Shanks braised in Hybrabadi Korma Sauce just fell off the bone it was so soft and tasted out of this world. This dish is also accompanied with Saag Aloo, Saffron Pilau Rice and Naan Bread. We did make a little room for some Mango Kulki (Indian Ice Cream) but I couldn’t fit anymore in. I was totally stuffed after that feast. I would like to say anyone looking to have a romantic meal for Valentines Day with that special someone get your table booked now to avoid disappointment, this menu will blow your socks off.

GP’s Challenge FundI’m giving my full support to Milton Keynes GPs and the Urgent Care Service in a bid to attain additional funding, known as the Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund, which will improve GP access.

The fund, started in 2013, which recently doubled from £50million to £100million, aims to improve access to general practice and stimulate innovative ways of providing primary care.We have already had some

successes over the past few months with our local health care, firstly the £2.9m for the hospital’s A&E and only last month, the news that our NHS will receive the third biggest increase in the UK in this year’s budget.I’ll continue to work hard to secure the much needed extra funding and without question, I will treat it as one of my top priorities.

MPs Working To Save Vital ServicesBoth myself, Iain and Councillor Edith Bald, Leader of the Conservative Group on MK Council, have met with leaders of the YMCA and the Citizens Advice Bureau to discuss ways to prevent MK Council from making substantial cuts in their budgets.

We have taken the move following the release of the latest MK Council budget, where amongst other services such as free black sacks and lunch clubs for the elderly being cut, the funding for the YMCA and CAB will be also removed. Whilst I appreciate MK Council has difficult decisions to make, the more I look at the budget the less I can see any genuine strategy behind it. It’s just a shopping list of cuts, not a strategic plan for the future.

Rather than simply ‘turning off the tap’ to many local voluntary organisations, often with no prior notice, the Council should be

looking at transitional arrangements, potentially using reserves to ensure that organisations have a chance to move to a

sustainable position. I will ensure everything is done to find a sustainable solution.

Hanging by a Thread! Abseiling down the 170 metre Spinnaker in Portsmouth last May was most definitely a terrifying ordeal but presenting

the cheque to the local branch of the Milton Keynes MS Society was truly rewarding.

My wife, Caroline Dinenage, who is the MP for Gosport, who also faced her fears, raised £1700 in sponsorship for a charity that’s very

close to our hearts.

very gardener has at least one guilty secret: mine is begonias. My mother insists they are vulgar and she wouldn’t give them house room.

A gardening friend turned up her nose at my begonia baskets last year but I won’t hear a word against them. They are the cheerful, cockney barrow boys of the plant world and I love them.

They are pretty easy to grow once you know how, and you can start them off any time now if you have a warm windowsill or a propagator.

The tubers should feel rock hard when you squeeze them. If they feel spongy, put them back.

There is also a right way up and a wrong way up. Take your tuber and examine it. There should be a concave surface - like a little dip - and a convex surface. The dip is the upper surface from which the shoots will grow and the convex surface sprouts the roots.

Fill some 12cm/5inch pots with soil-less potting compost so

that the surface of the compost is 2.5cm /1 inch below the rim of the pot. This eventually allows for watering, but at this time of year the top of the tuber should be kept dry.

Push the tubers - concave side up remember - into the compost so that the top of each tuber is still visible. Don’t bury them.

Keep the pots at somewhere between 15-18C / 60-75F in the propagator in a greenhouse or on a bright windowsill,

though not in direct sunlight.

Water with care and when the first flowers appear make sure they are well ventilated. High humidity and erratic watering can cause the buds to drop off.

Finally, begonias have both male and female flowers. The male ones are far bigger and more

showy, so pinch off the female ones, which can be spotted because they possess an embryonic seed

pod behind the bud. Doing this will mean that the male flowers will last much longer. You may need to stake

them to support the heads.

When summer arrives you will be able to plant up pots and baskets and bask in the flamboyant blowsy beauty of the begonia: Who could resist.

Running a marathon for Whizz-Kidz because I want children to reach their full potentialI am a mother to five children two of my children are disabled but are lucky that they are very active. I want to help a child improve their life and not feel left out when it comes to family events or be limited to certain activities at school . Whizz-kidz help children with improving their mobility and building their confidence . Making sure they are not left out at school and at home. supporting this charity will help with buying a child a wheelchair and teaching them how to use it. Whizz-kidz also help support parents and help with work experience placements and run a residential camp too.As a mum with disabled children i found running the best way for me to unwind, giving myself a chance to relax. Completing the London marathon is a massive achievement and one that i feel lucky i can do. Please help by sponsoring me and help me reach my target.
