MEET Mrs. Heaton
This is my 13th year of teaching in Wichita Public
Schools. I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade.
Third grade is my FAVORITE! My husband and
I have three adult sons. They live in Northern
California; Norman, Oklahoma; and Lawrence,
Kansas. We also have a very spoiled little dog,
who was adopted from the local animal shelter. I
like to ride my bicycle and spend time working in
the garden. I recently earned my Master’s
Degree in Education.
