Your Wedding Reception celebration is one of the most important days
in your life and we would like to have the privilege to help make all your
dreams come true.
The privately owned Leigh Park is a classic Georgian Country House Hotel
nestled on the outskirts of the pretty Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon,
only five miles from Bath. This Grade II listed building is in an idyllic
location with its landscaped gardens and beautiful lawns overlooking
the picturesque Wiltshire Downs. The new Secret garden with its hidden
paths, archways and seating is ideal to capture those wonderful romantic
moments on camera.
Licensed for the solemnization of Marriages and Civil Ceremonies, we
welcome couples to marry, then celebrate with family and friends at
the wedding breakfast, party into the evening, and then relax in the
honeymoon suite overnight – the ultimate day of celebration.
We offer a warm and friendly welcome together with an extremely high
standard of service and cuisine, which will exceed each family’s individual
requirements. You are cordially invited to visit Leigh Park to give us the
pleasure of showing you around, discussing your Wedding and answering
any questions you may have.
We are happy to take a provisional booking without obligation and hold for
fourteen days, after which a deposit will be required to secure your date.

CIVIL MARRIAGE CEREMONY AT LEIGH PARK HOTEL
The Leigh Park is a licensed venue for the solemnization of Marriages and
Civil Partnerships.
A choice of rooms are available for the ceremony, which can cater for
the smaller marriage of about 10 – 30 people to the larger gathering
of up to 120.
Also available is the unique Gazebo for an outside ceremony. Built in
Georgian times the Gazebo is believed to be the most intimate marriage
venue in the world with wonderful panoramic, picturesque views across
the Wiltshire Downs.

Once you have decided on a Civil Ceremony, you will need to make direct
contact with the Superintendent Registrar for Wiltshire Council and liaise
with the Hotel over the arrangements for the ceremony.

EXCLUSIVITY OFFERS THE FOLLOWING:
Just imagine this is ‘your’ Georgian Country House for the day and you
are entertaining all your guests in your home! All residents in the Hotel
are your family and friends and the only other people you will meet will
be the attentive staff.
The entire exclusive use of the Hotel for the day of your wedding, so
you can arrive the night before and wake the following morning to get
ready in your room before the ceremony in the Hotel or before going to a
church service locally.
Guests can use the entire hotel as they wish. If they want to leave the
Disco in the evening they can retire to the sumptuous settees in the
relaxing Garden Room, or just wander in the grounds knowing there
will be no other guests around.
Entire landscaped grounds available for your unique wedding photographs.
Exclusive use of the Vine Restaurant for your breakfast the following
morning.
Entertainment may be arranged for children in the separate Dudley room
- to avoid them becoming bored during the speeches.
If you do not wish to book the entire hotel exclusively you will still have
exclusive use of the Vendange Suite for your wedding.

We offer special accommodation rates to your Guests if they would like
to make a weekend break whilst enjoying your wedding reception. Now
with 38 individually designed bedrooms, we have our new contemporary
chic rooms in our Vendange and Coach House Suites together with more
traditional rooms in the main house.
Special rates are available when booking for more than one night
as we are only able to offer a limited number of rooms for a
Saturday one night only.
Children can be accommodated in their Parents room and any meals will
be charged as taken. Extra beds/cots if required available upon request.

Leigh Park VINEYARD & VICTORIAN WALLED GARDEN
We are proud to be able to offer you our own Leigh Park White Wine,
which is produced from grapes grown in the one-acre Victorian kitchen
garden.
The 600 Reichensteiner vines produce around 800 – 1000 bottles of
medium dry wine per year. We also offer personalised labels if you
choose this wine to be served at your Wedding Reception. The Vineyard
also offers great photographic opportunities.
Extensive wine list also available.
The unique walled garden produces some of the organic fruit, vegetables
and herbs used in the Hotel. The Hotel’s Gardener works hand in hand
with the head chef in order to supply a variety of fresh produce, which is
gathered on a daily basis, when in season, and offered on our menus.
A��itional INFORMATION
Capacity: 120 seated for the Ceremony/Reception and 150 for an
Evening Function.
Minimum numbers: We are always happy to host the smaller
more intimate or more informal Weddings. However, on Saturdays from
1 April to 31 October we request a minimum number of adults to the
main reception to avoid a room hire fee. This is subject to negotiation
during the quieter months.
Children: Smaller portions of your chosen menu can be served or a
special ‘Menu for the children’ if you prefer. If you have a large number
of children attending the wedding reception you may wish to hire our
private Dudley room and provide an entertainer or just offer videos with
the supervision of a child-minder – further details together with costs
available upon request.
Evening entertainment: Our own Hotel resident DJ comes
very highly recommended, or alternative entertainment for an Evening
Function can be arranged.
Marquee: We are able to organise a marquee on the lawns at
Leigh Park if this is something you would like to consider. We have an
association with a local company who can provide excellent facilities.
Quotes available upon request.
Fireworks: We are able to offer this facility if required but only with
the Hotel booking a professionally organised display and always before
10pm. We do not permit any individuals to set off fireworks themselves
or arrange for a third party to do the same.
Final numbers: These need to be confirmed at the very latest two
weeks prior to the function. After this time any cancellations are noted
but still charged.
Special rates: Discounts will be offered on receptions held on Sunday
to Friday and during the quieter months of the year.
