Isotrex Manufacturing engineering department has many years experience in design and manufacturing of armored vehicles. FACILITY

Production Facility In keeping with our corporate strategy of lowering vehicle costs to the client through the use of minimal facility operational costs and requirements, Isotrex Manufacturing selected a 25,000 sq ft manufacturing plant which includes all of the necessary equipment required by our team of experts to produce between 35 and 40 vehicles per month.

It is in the best interest of the company to continually look at reducing overhead costs, that in turn could end up being passed on to the consumer.

Our manufacturing facility is located in the city of Ajman which is strategically located at the entrance of the Arabian Gulf that has become the Emirate’s sole regulatory agency and houses 20% of the United Arab Emirates’ total manufacturing units, exporting to over 64 countries around the world.

Our administrative staff of highly-skilled personnel, who work very closely in conjunction with each other in order to ensure that all client and company requirements are met on schedule and with a high level of satisfaction from all involved.

A powerful 5.6L V8 engine, automatic transmission, and a variable 4×4 system. The Isotrex armored Nissan Patrol SUV is equipped with B6 level armoring to protect the cabin from ballistic threats up to the 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition as well as explosives up to 2x DM51 hand grenades. Proprietary suspension and braking system upgrades have been developed and installed on the vehicle to support the additional armoring weight and improve vehicle handling. All steel incorporated into the armoring process is milled using a special chemical composition that ensures ballistic integrity. All steel is laser cut and is designed and patterned according to the exact contour of the vehicle. In addition, all armor is installed using a proprietary process underneath the interior vehicle skin to provide an OEM interior finish and superior protection coverage.

Isotrex Manufacturing upgrades the brakes and the suspensions systems as required to maintain the stability and performance of the vehicle as well as to accommodate for the additional weight incurred due to the armor conversion, The suspension of the vehicle, along with the brakes should be modified when a vehicle is armored. Isotrex Manufacturing recommends its clients begin the armoring process with a heavier duty vehicle. The modification is done with a standard package that may vary depending on the needs of the client.

Isotrex Manufacturing incorporates premium, lightweight glass-clad polycarbonate offering true, multi-hit protection. All glass includes a premium interior hard-spall layer to prevent fragments/shards from penetrating the passenger compartment in the event of an attack. All glass is seamed, edged and finished using a Proprietary quality process that provides unprecedented UV and delaminating resistance. All glass features excellent ballistic protection and superior optical quality with very minimal distortion.

Ram Bumper

The Composite runflat (CRF) is a lightweight reinforced polymer device designed to provide flat tire mobility when used with pneumatic tires. The CRF runflat is comprised of two or three sections that is secured around the wheel, providing a strong bearing assembly. A special composite material formulation results in reduced friction and heat build-up inside a flat tire. The material is resistant to both ballistic attack and severe road hazards.

The sole purpose of this device is to ensure continuous vehicle operation, should the tires be shot at during an attack.

A complete door re-structure will be installed to support the additional weight after the armoring conversion. This includes reinforced pillars, posts and hinges. These modifications are made to ensure the door maintains its original functionality.

In order to mitigate against attacks where one vehicle is used to ram into another, Isotrex installs reinforced bumpers to help armored vehicles escape situations unharmed. Creating additional reinforcement to the armored vehicle edges as well as protecting key components, the armored vehicle can also remove debris and clear its path for a quicker escape to protect the occupants of the vehicle.

The Ballistic Container based design gives our clients the flexibility to move the unit easily and discretely between projects. We can custom fit to our clients needs.

At Isotrex Manufacturing, we ensure that every process and material utilized in our armor conversion is carefully monitored and approved by the management for use.

Once our sales division are contacted by the client, our highly-trained sales staff consults thoroughly with them to determine which of our armored vehicles would best suit their operational needs and which accessories we would recommend to add, so as they get the most from their armored vehicle purchase.

Once the client is fully satisfied that their armored vehicle and accessory selections are suited for their operations, and every effort has been made by our sales staff to remain within or below their budgetary constraints, a production order is issued and the vehicle is then sent to our production facility for manufacture to the clients specifications.

Upon entry into our production area, each stage of the armour conversion process, from receipt of the vehicle through to final completion is closely monitored through a series of detailed inspections which are performed on the workmanship throughout the armor manufacturing process by our production manager.

These inspections result in different areas of production quality being checked on each armored vehicle, with a way to ensure that quality is adhered to throughout production.

The client receives their armored vehicle in an excellent condition and on time. This commitment to quality and dedication to timely performance has resulted in our proven client loyalty and satisfaction. Following completion of production, the sales associate responsible for the contract performs an in-depth final inspection to ensure that the finishing is in line with our company’s strict quality standards and conforms to the clients expressed requirements and expectations.

These final inspections include every detail of the finished armored vehicle, and our sales associates have been fully trained on the inspection process which not only allows them to ensure their clients receive an excellent finished product, but also helps them become and stay knowledgeable for use in the consultation process with the client.

As a final consideration, there is a visual inspection performed by the authorised shipper of the armored vehicle, whether they were supplied by our company, or an outside entity retained by the client. A pre-delivery inspection report is then created which must be signed and approved by both parties prior to accepting the vehicle for shipment. Under no circumstance should any armored vehicle be released for shipment until these detailed processes are carried out.

Our connections and experience now prove that we are able to achieve the mandatory Import/Export Certification on average in 3 weeks time. This will coincide with the majority of build times for armored vehicles in production in our facility.

In regards to the actual shipment from the UAE, Isotrex have reliable partners that provide Freight via Road, Sea & Air Transport solutions on a daily basis.Isotrex has taken this philosophy a step further by realization of ‘sluggish’ logistical processes that occur with some customers and other manufacturers.

Isotrex offers the END-TO-END shipping process! This means that Isotrex will handle all Import and Export documentation mentioned as well as the freight to the final destination, including Customs Clearance, handling/documentation and all associated local costs.The benefit to the customer is to place one order and receive the armored vehicles at the final destination, with minimum involvement or expenses except for the initial formal applications.
