2021

My Dear Industry Colleague,

W ho ever thought when we said “See you next year” at the end of the International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT) 2019 in Indianapolis, that we wouldn’t? Or that just six months later we would all be at the mercy of a microscopic enemy that threatened our

lives, economy and well-being? I can’t imagine anyone foresaw the trials and challenges of the last 15 months. We’ve all endured

scary times, an uncertain future and many of us have faced personal loss as well. I am guessing I echo the thoughts of many business owners when I say that these are the toughest times I’ve man-aged through in my nearly 40-year career—and I hope I never see anything tougher.

But there is good news; there is hope and anticipation on the horizon, there are even higher more profi table and productive days ahead and here’s the reason:

You have made it and you are here!!!You have battled through the past 15 months and shown a resilience and business acumen that

won’t quit. Your attendance here is testament to it. You are focused on the future—your commit-ment to education shows that too.

So please take the next three days to focus on that bright and profi table future. Attend the educa-tional sessions, visit the exhibitors on the exhibition fl oor, learn the newest techniques at the com-petitions and demonstrations, but most of all, reconnect, refresh and renew your relationships with friends and colleagues.

This year’s WFCT will be like to no other in some ways, yet its ultimate goal of providing a top-notch learning environment with supportive friends is stronger than ever.

And on that note, I’d like to thank all our exhibitors, competitors and attendees who walked with us as we navigated through the COVID storm. We appreciate your support and understanding. And I would like to thank the amazing group of people who make up our staff. They have worked hard to bring this event to you, against seemingly impossible odds.

I look forward to greeting you on the exhibition fl oor. Please stop over and say “hi.” Thanks for being here, and now on to a successful WFCT.

Sincerely,

Publisher, WINDOW FILM magazine Managing Director, International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™
