BUTTERFLY VALVE GROOVED END

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The SAM CHANG FOUNDRY CO., LTD. & GLOBAL SAFETY PRODUCTS, INC. Models Grooved End Butterfly Valves in below Table are indicating type valves designed for use in fire protection systems where a visual indication is required as to whether the valve is open or closed.

They are used, for example, as system, sectional and pump water control valves. They have grooved inlet and outlet connections that are suitable for use with grooved end pipe couplings that are listed and approved for fire protection systems.

The details of connection should be checked by owner with manufacturer before purchasing.

For applications requiring supervision of the open or closed position of the valve, the Gear Operators for the Models are provided with two sets of factory installed internal switches each having SPDT contacts.

The supervisory switches transfer their electrical contacts when there is movement from the normally open or normally closed disc position during the first two revolutions of the handwheel.

The SAM CHANG FOUNDRY CO., LTD. & GLOBAL SAFETY PRODUCTS, INC. Model BB-G (Grooved End) / BB-T (Threaded End) Butterfly Valves are indicating type valves designed for use in fire protection systems where a visual indication is required as to whether the valve is open or closed.

It is used, for example, as system, sectional and pump water control valves.

BB-G has grooved inlet and outlet connections that are suitable for use with grooved end pipe couplings that are listed and approved for fire protection systems. BB-T has threaded inlet and outlet connections that are suitable for use with threaded end pipe that are listed and approved for fire protection systems as well.


For applications requiring supervision of the open or closed position of the valve, the Gear Operators for the Model are provided with two sets of factory installed internal switches each having SPDT contacts.



End and Threaded End Butterfly Valves described herein must be installed and maintained

in compliance with the manual, as well as with the applicable standards of the National Fire

Protection Association(NFPA), in addition to the standards of any other authorities having

jurisdiction.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The SAM CHANG FOUNDRY CO., LTD. & GLOBAL SAFETY PRODUCTS, INC. Model SCV Grooved End Swing Check Valve is compact and rugged swing-type units that allow water flow in one direction and prevent flow in the opposite direction.

The Model SCV Check Valves is designed to minimize water hammer caused by flow reversal.

The Model SCV Grooved End Swing Check Valve is furnished with grooved ends and can be installed using Grooved Couplings or Flange Adapters.

This valve can be installed horizontally or vertically with the flow in the upward direction as well.

We produce a high quality Pup Joints and they meet API 16C as well. The Pup Joints are one-piece construction made and feature wing union end connections that eliminate welds and threads.

SWIVEL JOINT

We produce a high quality Swivel Joints and they meet API 16C as well.

We Provide Swivel joints that range from 1" to 4" and can handle up to 6,000 psi for standard service. Also available are long sweep swivel joints, which are designed to withstand working pressure of 7,500 to 20,000 psi. Long sweep swivel joints for sour service are rated up to 15,000 psi. All swivel joints have three key features, one they are made from heat-treated material to withstand high pressures. Second they have a dual-purpose packing composed of an anti-extrusion ring to reduce friction, and an active seal to prevent the fluid from leaking.

All swivel joints have smooth bore finishes to ensure smooth flow. We offer a complete selection of Swivel joints and are capable of handling a variety of fluids.
