Fiberglass Pipe Insulation

A one piece molded insulation from glass "bers bonded with a thermo resin setting. The jacketing is a white kraft paper bonded to aluminum foil and reinforced with a "berglass scrim.

Insulation Tapes

Thomas Insulation offers ASJ, FSK and PVC tapes in multiple sizes. We also offer an extensive line of other special order tapes including aluminum foil, all weather formula, #ex and cloth duct tapes.

Future preparation. Training tomorrow’s workforce

The insulation industry offers excellent employment opportunities due to cyclical worker turnover.  Insulators often work independently as well as in a team.  Insulators that work within the commercial and industrial sectors typically earn substantially more than those working in residential construction due to the additional skills, training and knowledge required. 

Thomas Insulation Corporation is an official apprenticeship program provider and offers 2 semesters per year e.g., fall and spring, with a maximum enrollment of 20 students per class. The program is three-years in length.  *Tuition and book fees apply.

Applicants seeking the position of insulator apprentice will be instructed in insulation methods & techniques through "on-the-job" training or a formalized apprenticeship program. 

Applicants seeking the position of insulator mechanic require 3-5 years of professional experience and to have familiarity in applied math, blueprint reading, schematic plumbing diagrams, mechanical designs, sheet metal layout, and fabrication. The position of mechanic foreman in addition to the above noted requirements, includes paid supervisory functions.  Leadership skills are essential in this position.
