The Challenge started in July 2015 to encourage people to venture out, brave the cold for a selection of unique hot chocolates created by hospitality businesses located in Central Hutt.

This year’s challenge will again amaze and delight. Hot chocolates are combining with fruits, nuts and

even a vegetable to tempt your taste buds. So gather your friends, family, whānau and work colleagues

and brave the cold for some ‘Sweet As Hutt’s Hot Chocolates™’.

HOW TO VOTEWe have simplified voting for the ‘Sweet As’ hot chocolates you try.

Rate your hot chocolate on creativity, flavor and presentation.

Yeah, Nah – hot chocolate is good, but missed out on two of the three criteria.

SWEET – achieves two of the three criteria and is quite enjoyable.

SWEET AS – offers you all three criteria – and may even be a bit amazing!

Vote at each participating café, pub, restaurant, bakery where voting boxes will be available.

Ingredients: Whittakers 50% dark chocolate, Cashews, water, brown sugar, biscuit (wheat flour, sugar, palm oil, Cocoa solids, Glucose fructose syrup, artificial chocolate and vanilla flavourings, raising agents (ammonium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate and mono acid calcium phosphate), salt and emulsifier (of soy origin).

This year our Hot Chocolate has a rich, dark, Whittaker’s chocolate ganache base, accompanied with a hint of sweet hazelnut. Our baristas add in steamed milk, and top it carefully with freshly whipped cream. Along with your decadent Whittaker’s Hazelnut Fix, you’ll be treated to a piece of our Chocolate Brownie. A must try!
