We can sell in all markets

The best thing about Younique is that we can sell our products in all the countries where Younique is present

Currently this is USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and from 1 November 2014 in the UK

Customers we sell to, will pay for their products in their local currency and pay their local sales taxes, delivery costs etc.

But wherever we sell, we will receive commissions in our local currency (£)

For each product we sell we receive the same commission no matter where in the world we sell it

How does this work?

Each product you sell has Royalty points attached to it

These Royalty points are used for calculating commissions and for setting sales targets for promotions

Retail royalty points are used for calculating sales commissions on your own sales – wholesale points (retail points x 0.75) are used to calculate your commissions on the sales of your downline

Royalty points are converted into commissions using the rate on the commission table and then converted into your local currency using an exchange rate (for the UK it is 0.65)

A word about UK prices and VAT

In the UK our prices are shown with VAT included as that is how we are used to seeing them.

In the USA and the other markets that Younique are in theitr prices are shown with sales tax excluded

Presenters in all countries earn commissions at 20%, 25% or 30% on the price net of sales tax

So a mascara retails in the UK for £23 (incl VAT) remove the 20% VAT (which goes to the tax office) and Younique receives £18.40

The UK sales commission at 20% is £3.77 , which is approx. 20% of the £18.40

Example

A 3d fiber lash mascara retails in the UK for £23 but it has 29 Royalty points.

When you first join the company you are a White level presenter and your commission rate is 20%

So your personal sales commission on the first mascara you sell is

29 points x 20% commission x 0.65 exchange rate =£3.77

Your first target – promotion to yellow

When you first join the organisation you are a white presenter with a commission rate of 20%.

You only earn income on your own sales

The personal sales commissions are paid on the day of the sale

You remain at White until you have sold 1000 points of products. Note – this is Royalty points not £

As soon as you have sold products worth 1000 points then you promote to Yellow status and your commission rate rises to 25%

So once you are Yellow each mascara you sell will earn you

29 points x 25% commission x 0.65 exchange rate = £4.71

You reached Yellow now what?

Yay! You got promoted to Yellow – you will now earn minimum 25% on your Personal Sales for ever- you cannot go back to white

The bad news – from now on you start again at yellow on the first of every month. Any month that you do not hit the monthly targets for the higher levels you will be paid as yellow, which is 25% on your personal sales and nothing on your downline.

So, it is time to start recruiting – the next level Is pink, and in order to reach it you need to have at least one qualified recruit underneath you

What is your Company?

Your company is the total of everybody that you recruit and everybody that they recruit down infinite levels.

When you begin recruiting, your circle will be the same as your company (more on that later)

Company wholesale points are the total points sold by everybody in your company x 0.75

How to get to pink and get paid for your downline sales

At the end of a month you need at least

• 250 points in Personal Sales

• 2000 points in company wholesale sales (75% of the points of you and all of your team)

• At least 1 qualified recruit (so you can't do the 2000 points by yourself. Qualified means they have sold at least 125 points in the last 3 months)

When you hit pink you will be paid

• 25% of your personal retail points

• 3% of your circle wholesale points

Example Pink pay

Let's say in a month you have 400 points Personal sales and 2000 circle wholesale sales.

On your sales you will be paid 400 x 25% x 0.65 =£65

- this will be paid during the month as you make your sales

On your downline you will be paid 2000 x 3% x 0.65= £39

The circle royalties are paid on 8th of the following month

Moving onto blue – keep recruiting

The next target is a month with:

• Personal sales of 250 points

• Company wholesale of 4000 points

• At least 2 qualified recruits

When you hit this you are Blue and your downline commission goes up to 4%

Blue pay example

Your personal sales this month are 400 points and company wholesale is 4,000

You get

Personal sales commission of 400 x 0.25 x 0.65 =£65

Circle wholesale commission 4000 x 4% x 0.65 =£104

Next step - Green elite status

Now you have to aim for a month with

500 points personal sales

3 qualified recruits

10,000 company sales of which 2,000 circle sales

Yay! You have hit green elite status – your personal sales commission goes up to 30% and your circle royalties to 5%!

The Difference between circle and company

When you start recruiting company = circle

But eventually one of your recruits will also hit green status and become elite.

When they do the sales of that Recruit and their downline are still in your company but they come out of your circle and go into your first generation.

You need to make sure you still have enough recruits left In your circle to keep your circle sales up- if not go and find some more….

A sample green payment

Your personal sales this month are 500 points

You have one green recruit & she and her downline have sold 10000 points (your first generation)

You have 2000 circle sales, so 12,000 company sales

On your personal sales you will earn 500 points x 30% x 0.65 = £97.50

On your circle sales you will earn 2000 x 5% x 0.65 = £65

On your first generation sales you will earn

10000 x 3% x 0.65 = £195

TOTAL: £357.50

Next step Orange

To get to Orange you need

• Personal sales of 500 points

• 3 qualified recruits, of which 1 green

• 20,000 company sales of which 4,000 in your circle

At Orange level you get paid for second generation sales as well so you can have a green presenter with another green presenter below the and still be paid for everything they all do.

A sample orange payment

Your personal sales are 500 points

Your first generation sales are 10,000, second generation 10,000

You have 4000 circle sales, so 24,000 company sales



On your first generation sales 10000 x 3% x 0.65 = £195

Second generation 10,000 x 4% x 0.65 = £260

TOTAL £682.50

And so to purple

Now you need

• 500 points personal sales

• 4 qualified recruits of which 2 elite green or above

• 40,000 company sales of which 6,000 circle sales

Now your circle royalties go up to 6%

A sample purple payment

This month you have 500 personal sales

10,000 circle sales, 20,000 first generation and 10,000 second generation – company wholesale 40,000



On your first generation sales 20000 x 3% x 0.65 = £390


TOTAL £1137.50

And finally black

Now you need

• 500 points personal sales

• 4 qualified recruits of which 4 elite green or above

• 80,000 company sales of which 10,000 circle sales

Now you are also paid on third generation sales

A sample black payment

Your personal sales are 500 points

Your first generation sales are 30,000, second generation 20,000, third generation 20,000

You have 10,000 circle sales, so 80,000 company sales



On your first generation sales 30,000 x 3% x 0.65 = £585


Third generation 20,000x 5% x 0.65 = £650

TOTAL £2,242.50

Is this achievable?

Some of these figures look very hard to achieve. But this company is only two years old and every month more and more people are reaching these high levels,

It can be done because people are doing it. The company will continue to expand to new markets (I guess) so there is plenty of room for more recruits and a larger team

Each of my illustrations is an example – it can be changed by selling more yourself or by changing the proportions of your team in your circle and three layers below you
